Stayed for 5 nights in Birch Lodge No15 which looked as if it had recently been upgraded. Site is well kept with a quiet location. Lodge was very clean, warm and comfortable. New shower unit with plenty of hot water. Bonus that no extra charge for electricity. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend the nearby Kirroughtree Hotel (book first) for...

We stayed here from Friday 24th until Monday 27th February, arrived at 4 got checked in and headed to our lodge, unpacked and ready for the hot tub but unfortunately it wasn't warm enough, my other half nipped down to reception and it was explained that the tubs are refilled after each let and take a while to warm up,...

Our second stay at confers. Wanted somewhere within 3 hours drive with a hot tub. They delivered again - clean lodge, quiet location and total relaxation after exams and assignments! Nothing is too much trouble for staff.

Stated here for four nights on January 9th to the 13th. Absolutely loved it. I have family in Newton Stewart and Creetown who l usually stay with, but l came here earlier in the year for a fortieth and loved it. Hot tub was magic, especially as it started snowing on the Wednesday night. Lodge was immaculate and equipped with...

Booked a week break after having 2 friends recommend that we stay here. Lodge is spotlessly clean, and well stocked with glasses and crockery etc. Only downside is that the loo doesn't flush very strongly but I would hardly call that a minus point. Hot tub is spotless, and checked daily buy the maintenance team. Towels and robes are available...

really recommend conifers to anyone wanting a break with their partner or family, the lodges are all very well maintained,in the winter there isn't much to do unless you drive into town (5 minutes in the car) in good weather though it would be a nice walk. the Indian restaurant is very nice in town but be careful with the Indian/chippy...

This is our first visit to the Conifer Lodges park in Newton Stewart and would highly recommend. The Lord Galloway lodge is a modern 4 bedroom lodge, with two double bedrooms upstairs with en-suite and two twin rooms downstairs with a shower room in the middle. The bedrooms downstairs are separated from the main living area with a small corridor,...

Stayed here with my wife and our dog for Christmas. On arrival card and box of chocolates with roasting tin for the turkey and Christmas tree in the corner. Everything in the lodge is lovely and we wanted for nothing. Sainsbury coop Aldi all 2km away for supplies and five minutes to dark sky forest. All in all excellent.

So glad we booked this place for stay between Christmas & New Year to celebrate my father-in-law's 60th. There were 6 adults, 1 child & our dog and we stayed in Lord Galloway 34 - 4 bed 2 storey with hot tub which was modern, clean and all we could ask for. Check-in welcoming and Laura (on-site Manager) came to...
