We have visited Ardvreck every year or so for over twenty years and have never been disappointed. We always look forward to arriving and are sorry when we have to leave. Perfect hillside location looking down on Ullapool and out across the loch. Friendly efficient staff make for an enjoyable stay. Breakfasts are good with plenty of choice. Thoroughly recommended.

This purpose-built little hotel is clean and comfortable. However, if you are looking for a cozy B&B with a chatty knowledgable host and all the little personal touches that come along with that, you will be disappointed. The rooms are identical and bland, more like staying at a Premier Inn. Perfectly nice, but no flavour. A really solid mini hotel...

On a nice day the setting for this hotel overlooking Ullapool and the bay is highly memorable. The guesthouse is newer and very well kept up. There is a also nice room in the front for reading at night. Our room had a large bathroom and a nice shower. The décor for the hotel is simple and very nice. We...

Booked this B & B before going on the Stornaway ferry. Wished I could have stayed longer. Situated on a hill beyond Ullapool overlooking Loch Broom. Lovely, spotlessly clean room with view over the loch, watching the ferry come and go. Really welcoming and helpful owners, with places to eat and walks to do.

The guest house is nice and secluded and booking in advance is well recommended.

We booked Ardvreck because we were sailing from Ullapool to Stornaway the next day. It was intended to be a one night stop over on the way to the main event of our holiday but exceeded expectations in all respects with a great room with breath-taking views of the Loch and the hills beyond. The room was clean and comfortable...

Had 2 nights in this lovely place. Delightful elegant house on a hillside overlooking Loch Broom. Evelyn is a charming and very welcoming hostess, and she and her staff are ever ready to help her guests in whatever way they can. My Single Room was very comfortable and overlooked the Loch so I had great views. Guest Lounge and Breakfast...

Wonderful home overlooking Ullapool and the surrounding mountains. The city is quaint and inviting with good restaurants and a beautiful waterfront. Comfortable clean rooms with great views with a very good breakfast....

Very comfortable room and stunning views over Loch Broom or surrounding hills, mountains, from all parts of the house and garden. Decor a bit 'tired' but scrupulously clean and comfortable. Evelyn is a friendly, welcoming host and has time for each and every one of her guests. Breakfast delicious and a lot of choice with something to suit everyone's taste,...
