We'd stayed here before a few years back, and we were pleased to see that the place has had a refurbishment. Our chalet was very nice - small and basic, but perfectly ok for the one night stay before the morning ferry. There's a small TV and ensuite bathroom. Free wifi throughout the hotel and rooms. The guy running the place...

We didn't stay here but had a superb meal in the restaurant. Tony and Bev were perfect hosts and we both had fish dishes which couldn't be faulted-recommend the seafood sharing platter. The restaurant has a well deserved reputation for food and is a must to visit. Also very good value for money. It is slightly away from the centre...

Have stayed here before. Tony and Bev and their staff lead a seemingly happy team who work hard and are very efficient; balancing the various demands, often all at once! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable with plenty of hot water, effective radiator, hairdryer, TV, free Wifi and plentiful tea/coffee supplies. Carpeting is a bit 'tired'...

We stayed for one night in a chalet-style room before catching the Stornoway ferry the following morning. Our host welcomed us warmly and with a touch of banter. The accommodation was of a very good standard and both dinner and breakfast were a real pleasure. Recommendable.

Found this motel /restaurant while browsing the net. It is a short walk away from the town center, but a rather pleasant river walk. I ordered a prawn salad for starter and grilled sea bream for my entree', my husband ordered smoked haddock with poached egg and black pudding and potato. the dishes were all beautifully presented and taste good...

We stayed in this motel ( myself , husband, daughter and dog ) after a very long car journey and just ahead of a ferry trip to Stornaway . It was perfect for our needs. We could drive the car right to the door ( just like any motel in America ) . The room accommodated our needs for this...

A little dated now. Just like hotels in the states with small chalet rooms that ypu can park right outside. Nothing fancy just honest accommodation at a reasonable price. the attached bar and restaurant serves great food. ( I recommend the steak and guinness pie ) I will definitely stay here again. Its a short 5 minute walk to the...

It all seemed from an early time i.e. rooms were dated as well as the lounge/bar. The latter only seemed to take life when the restaurant ‘closed’ in the evening and surprised was in the Good Beer Guide. That said it was perfunctory and the service was good enough. More than one night would be a hard on a person

The rooms are neat and tidy and are kept in tip top condition by the staff. The food was excellent and the staff could not be more helpful to our group, this was in spite of the banter that was taking place between us all. The parking outside your room was ideal for us as it saved worrying about carrying...
