This was a genuinely lovely hotel to stay in. The room was a typical size and the bathroom was pretty standard for a good quality hotel. I wouldn't call it fancy but it was clean, tidy and everything was good quality and well maintained. The owners were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The food was marvellous and they were really...

Friendly staff, nice bar friendly locals, freshly cooked breakfast served piping hot. Railway station short walk, bus stop outside. Ideal touring base for the Black Isle. Nice evening meals. Owner very helpful will be back.

Booked a twin room and after checking in and going to the room established that only one bed had been made up with bedding. Someone came with additional bedding and sorted this out but with "attitude". Trying to decide if we should have dinner here our decision was easily taken not to after the table next to us were informed...

We had a two hour wait for a train so stopped for a drink at the bar and dinner at the restaurant. Prices were cheap, beer was good, there was only one staff member servicing bar and restaurant, but he was fast and friendly. Food was what we expected from a small country pub, was fine, but not spectacular. Recommended...

Traveld with my wife and child. Staff was exellent and super nice. Very Scottish feel of the building, no noise except the train but its not really a bother. Breakfast was good and it also has a bar and pool table. Would defintly reccomend this. Remember checkin starts after 14.00 so if you are there before the doors will be...

Cannot comment about the accommodation but dropped in for dinner on the way through Muir of Ord. Friendly reception, and good selection on the menu. Lamb shank well cooked and just melted away. Seemed like only one member of staff on duty, who was very pleasant and attentive, Recommend for a bite to eat.

I would only stay at this place if on a very low budget and if on a walking or camping holiday needing somewhere dry for the night and a bath. The rooms are in need of an extreme makeover and the whole place needs a total revamp if I were asked. However, the area and the attractions, especially the Ord...

A local hotel to Muir of Ord in the highlands. We stayed for 2 nights in room 12 which was well equiped for the price we paid. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant which provided a great full breakfast cooked by the proprietor. If you are expecting 5 star facilities this will not be for you, but for...

“We stayed in Room 2 which has plenty of space around the twin beds and in the bathroom.”

“My room was at the rear of the hotel, where there was little or no view. It depends upon what you are looking for, and all I/we needed was a comfortable, clean place to sleep, and that is what we got. If you need a view, then go out and look around. The bedroom is for sleeping in.”
