This is a beautiful and unusual place, set in an amazing 'garden' of winding paths, huge plants and sculptures. The site has all sorts of features and details around every corner. The cooking facilities in the yurts are basic, there aren't many loos, its not the cheapest and there are midges but despite this it's well worth a visit.

Quirky campsite on a hilly area with lots of plants & foliage that is perfect for hiding away your tent & having some privacy. Loved the wildness & natural beauty of this. Not so good for motorhomes as crammed in, maybe only space for 4 altogether but 3 are crammed into a space suitable for 2. Downside for me was no chemical toilet disposal or grey water. Perhaps I should have checked before booking but I wrongly assumed this would be available & it was the most expensive site of our 4 week Hebridean visit. Well worth a visit if your tenting.

Was told fine to arrive soon as came off the ferry at 7am. This wasn't the case,no one answered the phone or the house. Another couple were waiting. Looks nothing like the pictures and campers crammed in. Plenty of places to park on park4night app with much better location and free of charge. Never heard from owner all day. And wouldn't have been happy paying £30. It's basically just in someone's garden and not attractive. Very misleading and I was so glad we drove away!

I had a lovely few nights staying myself in the Bell tent. Beautiful locations and such idyllic grounds - what a lot of work has gone in to making the campsite such an enjoyable space. Grieg was very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. I then had a friend join me for a few days in our own tents. Great place for all travellers - solo, friends, families and couples. Midgies are an issue everywhere on the west coast if there is no wind but there are fire pits which the smoke does help. Very clean facilities and the black house was a good place to hide from the midgies one evening when they were annoying. Thanks again Grieg for a great stay 😃

If in a tent the site is stunning.Beautiful little areas to pitch a tent. Very clean amenities. But sadly if in a camper van/motorhome, you have to park in what appears to be an ex car park. The access to the tent area is straight through the site for the 3 camper vans. This leads to the loud gate opening and closing continually as campers park in road. They continually come and go to cars to get things. Or dispose of rubbish. You then hear car doors banging above you. The night we were there it went on until 11pm and started again before 7 the next day, as campers packed up their cars, some coming right next to the van.No outside privacy to eat. So sadly it wasn’t private, secluded or holistic for us.
