We stayed for six nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The room was clean and cosy with a beautiful view, breakfasts were huge and delicious (Graham even gave us a box of eggs from their hens to take home), and we were in close proximity to a lot of the landmarks we wanted to see. Portree is close enough that we had a few options for dinner, but we also tried the Edinbane Inn after Graham recommended it - and Stein's (Skye's oldest pub) is just down the road! Graham also helpfully suggested cafes, walking routes and natural landmarks we might like to see when were out and about during the day, and we were able to really make the most of our trip. We will definitely be back! - Mairi and Euan

We stayed with Madeline and Graham for one night, having called last minute to find a room following our planned visit to Loch Bay Seafood restaurant. Madeline kindly gave us their last room available, and what a lucky find it was. Very homely, comfortable, and with a delicious breakfast, Madeline and Graham are the perfect hosts. They even provided us with a recommended itinerary for the next day which we followed to the tee - and it was all wonderful! We'll recommend Lorgill to anyone we know that visits Skye.

Graham and Madeline were extremely welcoming and wonderful to stay with.
The accommodations were very nice, our room had a nice bathroom and walk-in closet area to spread out. The view from our bedroom was amazing! The bed was comfortable, which helped me unwind in serene Waternish.
Breakfast was delicious and hearty, but the best part were the breakfast conversations with Graham and Madeline! They were so lovely and provided a great overview of the area and gave us great recommendations on where to go and what to do.
Their location is very central and allows great access to all areas of Skye.
I would recommend everyone to stay with Graham and Madeline, and I hope to return so! Thanks so much G&M, you made our vacation great!

One of the best b&b's we ever visited! Graham and Madeline are so kind and helpful. We had a great time with them and Graham will tell you all you want to know about local stuff, things to do or see and wanted to help where ever he could. Same goes for Madeline. And the collie dog is lovely as well, kind to and interested in the guests. The view and sunset is very pretty. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean. All in all, a fantastic place to stay!

Spent two nights with Madeline and Graham at Lorgill and it was perfect, from the superbly equipped large room upstairs with superb views, the great breakfasts to the most sociable helpful hosts you could meet.
We arrived as customers but felt that after this short visit we left as friends.
Five stars from us.

Allan and Helen.

We stayed in Lorgill B&B for 3 days of our honeymoon. What a lovely place, stayed upstairs in a huge en-suit room. Madeline offered a bottle of champagne!!! It has to be the best B&B we ever stayed in and unforgettable sunset recommended by Madeline.

We stayed at this wonderful B & B towards the beginning of a long 5 week trip. It still stands out as a highlight of our entire trip. Madeleine was out of town, but Graham was wonderful. His breakfasts were great, and the room was fantastic, never mind the amazing view. The icing on the cake was seeing their sheep and buying yarn spun from their fleece at a local shop. As a knitter & spinner, this was nirvana.

We spent 3 days with Madeline and Graham in May 2012. We arrived as strangers, and parted as friends.
We stayed at Lorgill as part of a 3 month world trip.
Hosts Graham and Madeline are an extraordinary couple who made our stay on Skye the richest experience possible. I can't recommend staying here highly enough.
Great food, comfortable, warm, homely feel - engaging and well informed hosts - Lorgill is the best experience that one could wish for when staying away from home. Every other B&B was a disappointment by comparison.

After a rather long motorcycle ride from Tain, this was a superb nights stay. Madeleine was away and Graham was in charge. He was a superb host and very easy to get on with. As a biker himself he knew the things we need-somewhere safe to leave your bike and a hot drink followed by somewhere to dry wet gear (the latter not needed). We used the loch bay restaurant in Stein which is a short walk away. Graham offered us a lift back if it was raining which is very decent.
Breakfast was a proper Scottish affair inc. tatty scones accompanied with good conversation. What more could you ask for?
Overall, highly recommended, if you can't get a bed then I would go with his recommendation.
