My partner and I went in with our 2 good sized dogs just for drinks. Found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Pub very clean. Several other people in the place had got food which looked and smelt delicious. Had several good days. Thank you

Well all I can say is how tasty and gorgeous the food was. We came in and felt welcomed by the staff. I had a burger and it was presented great in a basket and all cooked really nice. Partner had a steak and it was cooked perfectly and he loved the homemade peppercorn sauce and said its the best...

Having visited last April and enjoying a lovely meal we went back on Tuesday, taking our son. All of us enjoyed our choices but thought the presentation ( in boxes ) although looking good with our chips in miniature chip pans, was not easy to eat....sorry but what is wrong with good, old fashioned plates? Stayed at the Taly (as locals call it) for a long weekend after a wet camping trip. We were put up with short notice and nothing was too much trouble. We had the family room which was out of this world, the beds were amazing to sleep in and the staff were so friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fabulous Sunday roast today at the Tal y Don, perfectly cooked meats and vegetables and the gravy was ace! Loads of choice and plenty to eat. Will be back soon definitely.... Oh and desert was amazing too. Nick/Jo

Have stayed here several times this year. Lovely spacious rooms, very clean and welcoming. From the complimentary toiletries to the fluffy towels to friendly staff, we've never had cause to grumble. Food is well cooked with good portions. . Bonus for us is that our dog is as welcome as we are !! Highly recommended.

I booked and overnight stay here. Though the location is ideal for staying in Barmouth the staff here are extremely rude and unwelcoming. Upon arrival the lady behind the bar began to check us in whilst chatting to other people at the bar barely acknowledging out existence. She was completely distracted and kept making mistakes. For someone who had just...
