We were visiting my Mother and staying in the hotel, but invited her to join us for dinner. We had a very good meal and impeccable service. Definitely one of the best places for a quiet dinner in Crickhowell. The room was clean, spacious and adequate (though the single beds were a little on the small side). The hot water... More

The hotel, its friendly staff and beautiful food were the highlights of our weekend in crickhowel. I would highly recommend to any couple looking for a weekend break. The jacuzzi, sauna and steam room facilities were an added bonus and the food was to a very high standard.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable with fantastic views. The downside was the fact the none of the sockets worked in the room so the table lamps, TV, tea making facilities and hair drying were out of the question, I had to dry my hair in reception . It would have been nice to... More

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. We have now sorted the small electrical fault in the room you stayed in and I hope this does not affected your decision to return to the hotel. Stayed at this hotel in March 2016. It is a delightful hotel with loads of character. The rooms are spacious and the décor matches the period of the hotel. Amazing views from the front rooms of the hotel. We had breakfast the next day and it was extremely good and the fresh cooking was evident. The only downside was the... More

Overnight stay. Receptionist very welcoming. Room in quieter part of hotel. Unfortunately no view from the room but other rooms offered stunning views of the country side. Lots of electrical sockets in the room which was a plus. Room a little dated but could be seen as suitable for hotel. Room was lovely and warm on arrival but later got... More

Stayed here for a friends party. Check In was quick and staff very friendly and helpful. Used the leisure facilities which were good pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a steam room. Although I didn't venture into the gym area. Views from the hotel were fantastic. Rooms are a little dated but fits the style of the country hotel. Breakfast was lovely.

Booked this as a romantic break and the hotel informed us their was a function on so we "upgraded to a better room" which was worse than the one we had booked and more money! It took 20 mins to find a member of staff to check in. Although large the room was dark, cold and unwelcoming with view over... More
