I stayed there for one night (unfortunately just one) recently, on business. I can only say good things about this lovely B & B and its gracious host Kelly. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully appointed with obvious great attention to detail. An excellent breakfast is included with more menu options than you would expect at a small B &...

One of the many pleasures in life is my annual trip to Windsor Nova Scotia for a rehearsal and community concert in the lead-up to Christmas. What makes this extra special for me is my stay at the Phoenix Hollow B&B at 65 Chestnut Street. I love staying in this beautifully decorated Victorian heritage home with all the comforts, bells...

There are not enough words to describe our stay at the Phoenix. We came to Windsor from Alberta for a wedding, and this was suggested to us by the bride and groom. The Hostess: Kelly was so very kind and knowledgeable about the community/area,her attention to every single detail, small and large, just blew us away!! She has great stories...

Our one-night stay at Phoenix Hollow was a very fortunate happenstance. We added a stop in Windsor to our Nova Scotia itinerary kind of by dumb luck. But lucky we were. We almost missed staying at this magnificent old home and meeting Kelly, the delightful owner and host of this fine establishment. The home's Victorian craftsmanship has been preserved and...

We spent five nights in this lovely historical home! Our host was wonderful - friendly, outgoing, informative as well as a wonderful artist. We enjoyed coming back to the ambiance and warmth of the house and finished off our day with a Sherry and cookie, graciously provided by Kelly!! We have never encountered anything like that before. The rooms were...

Phoenix Hollow host, Kelly Mitchelmore, is a talented painter whose creative, artistic touches can be seen and experienced throughout her B & B. Kelly is as open and friendly as her paintings. The two guest rooms make for an intimate setting. It gives travelers an opportunity to meet and talk without feeling crowded. Kelly provides an optional breakfast menu, which...

Thank you for your review and your kind words. Note that we at the Hollow listen to our guests and have decided to adapt the menu due to various comments and we now offer fried ham instead:) - thank you again.

This is an outstanding B&B in all respects. The owner/operator, Kelly Mitchelmore, is an artist/designer, but more importantly is a most helpful and gracious hostess. This luxurious property is extremely well outfitted and is located in close proximity to restaurants and the waterfront Clearly, this is a five star accommodation.
