Stayed at Summerhill Cottages and Cabins for my after prom this year, and it was by far the best prom experience I could have wanted. The place holds about 80 people, and is great for large groups because you can all be in the same spot. It's reasonably priced, and the staff are great. They are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in cottages and cabins, and it was nice that everyone had their own space, but we could still all hang out together. The booking process was very smooth, and all my emails were answered quickly. Staff were also okay with there being a bit of noise (they understand that we are teenagers, and accept that we will be loud). Music did have to be off though by 11pm. Overall, we will hopefully be returning sometime this summer, and will defiantly be back next year!

Great staff, super inexpensive, great if you're looking for something close to the beach and close to all of the clubs, bars, etc. Amazing location! I also had a friend who wanted to stay last min. and they were great about allowing her to stay and everything.

My School stayed at Summerhill cottages this year after our High School graduation. It was exactly what we were looking for!
- Close to the beach, but not right on the main strip.
- Inexpensive
- Student Friendly

The owners were very nice and always there when we needed them. They were really understanding that this was our graduation trip, and as long as we weren't doing anything really crazy they never complained.

The only downsides that some poeple mentioned were;
1. There's no A/C so the cottages (especially ones with up-stairs) get EXTREMELY hot at night
2. You have to clean the cottages before you leave to the point where they look like how they did when you got them - but the staff provide cleaning supplies!
3. You have to bring everything with you - from towels and bedding, to paper towels and dish soap
4. Most of the group around the cottages is sand, so the floors get gross by the end of the weekend and everyone walking in and out

Overall though this is definitely the perfect place to stay with a large group (there was over 50 of us), the pros strongly outweighed the cons, and the owners were so nice and chill.

If you're going with your school message me if you have any questions!

Merci frans :)

I stayed at a cottage here and myself and 4 friends who slept in the beds developed a serious rash that put us out of work for multiple days. The 2 people who slept on the pull out couch did not have any problems but all 4 guests in the beds got the rash. There is obviously a bug problem in their beds and/or cottages. When we confronted the owners they dodged all the blame and still charged us a $70.00 cleaning fee. Our medical bills were approx $50-$70 to treat the rash. I actually think this is a great cottage location and potential to be a very nice destination for people but the owners are not people you want to do business with and no one wants a full body rash for days after they leave and still get charged a $70.00 cleaning fee after doing the best we could to clean up the cottage. Would never stay here again.

First time with my 2 sisters Can't express how grateful I am to Fran and David for the exceptional welcoming. The washrooms/showers and rooms were immaculate. Staff provided toaster/kettle/corkscrew and anything else we needed. Beds were comfortable for a good night sleep. Very close walk to beach. Would recommend this place to everybody. Awesome weekend Going back next year for our family reunion.

This was our first experience at Summerhill and we stayed in a three person cabin for five nights and were more than pleased with the service. Summerhill offered us an even cheaper rate than where we stayed last year in a tent at a different campsite. Not only was the price extremely reasonable but both our accommodations and the washrooms/showers/overall campground were immaculate. The shower stalls were also individual which was really nice. The first day we arrived we went out to get groceries not knowing a major storm was coming and had left our cabin windows open and were very upset all our bedding was wet and the staff immediately took our linens and offered to dry it all for us while offering both fresh linens and pillows in the meantime before promptly and personally delivering our linens fresh. The remainder of our stay they continued to impress us with their especially kind and accommodating service as well as the security guard who was equally friendly and efficient in addressing any issues in the later hours. The cabins were well equipped and cozy and the proximity to the beach and other amenities was unbeatable... Literally a 5 min. walk to the beach. We are looking forward to returning whether it be just the two of us or with a group of friends as the larger accommodations/group rates are equally as appealing!
