We have been coming to the Georgian resort inn for many many years!!! We got to know the owner LES. Our recent visit was a HORRIBLE experience!! It started off with his father!! With all do respect he yelled at my 3 boys for being kids and having fun in their play area!! Then his mother was rude to my boys!! It was disgusting! We let that go and wanted to stay an extra night!! No problem apparently but next day ready to move to next room gave it to a random family that wanted to stay longer!! Their word means nothing just extra cash does!!We have given this place a LOT OF MONEY throughout the years but loyalty doesn't matter!! There is no respect for the people that have supported them for over 20 years but are open to late night partiers that are louder then my 3 boys!! Shame on this family for first screwing my kids and loyal customers!! Thus time was gross washrooms and not enough supplies!! No organization!! It's time this family sold it to more responsible and respectful owners! NEVER GOING BACK!! NOT CORONA FRIENDLY AND RUDE SERVICE!! A million thumbs down!!!…
This was a family vacation, we rented the 3 cottages for a week and some rooms on different days as some more family members were staying for 2 days at a time. The cottages were fully equipped, kitchen, dishes. The motel is like going back to the fifty's, but very clean, cleaning lady brought us new towel every morning. Owners Less, Mathew, Ziggy are very nice and are alway there to answer any questions you may have. One day when we were using the BBQ, we ran out of gaz and Less gave us a new tank within minutes. Service is great. If you are renting a room, I would suggest you rent on the second floor, you will have a view of the beach from the kitchen window. It is the only Motel that is so close to the beach, you can park your car there and not use it at all. Motel is close to the beer and liquor stores. Thank you Less for the great vacation, had a great time bugging you all week.…
It's not often you get to sleep so close to the world's largest fresh water beach, and that's how you'll feel when you take a room at the Georgian Inn. Having stayed in Wasaga a lot over the years, accommodations and availability have often been an issue, especially during the Wasaga Beach Motorcycle Rally. Well, we lucked out with a last minute cancellation and landed a 3 bedroom cottage for the Saturday night. First of all, did I mention the location? Right at the end of the beach strip, steps from the beach, it's a minute's walk to all things Wasaga, shorts, shades, suds and sandwiches. The cottage was great. Very clean and kept up. Having stayed in more than one "Spring Breaker" in Wasaga (places which will remain nameless) it was a welcomed surprise to find a family operated spot which was pridefully cared for. A nice backyard, with swings for "someone else's kids" , picnic tables for socializing and smokers, BBQ outside the door.... it was a real thrown back to the spots I'd visit when I was a kid with the family and people really cared for their motels. Les, our Inn keeper, was more than accommodating, having had to cancel (with notice) one of the nights due to weather. We've already re-booked the spot for next year's Motorcycle Weekend and can't wait to return. My new favourite "bunk" in Wasaga.…
We stayed here one night while on a road trip thru Ontario. Loved this place with ocean views. Had a nice chat with the owners - very nice people. Close to the restaurants across the bridge too...great!
Last minute stay at this lovely motel a two minute walk to the beach, clean, homely. And when I lost my phone and returned from down town Toronto . Bless them they found my phone ... Ps I even saw a house keeper laundering curtains. So clean
