We stayed there for 3 nights at this cozy B&B, walking distance from downtown Baie-St-Paul. Although the shower was a bit small, the room was very comfortable, with room for our luggage and a cute little table to play our morning Cribbage. Worth every penny.
We absolutely LOVED staying here. Delphine was the most incredibly host and chef. She answered any and all questions we had, made suggestions about what do to (where we should go, what we should skip) during our 3 days in Charlevoix, and was just so friendly and interested in making our stay and vacation special. The rooms were very comfortable, incredibly clean, and maximized space. The B&B is so well located, a 5 min walk to the heart of Baie St Paul and a 5-10 min walk to the pier on the water. Her breakfasts were outstanding, with 2 choices daily. Buckwheat crepes, Eggs Benedict, omelets, yogurt parfaits, just all delicious. Only regret was that we were doing so many things that we didn't take the time to enjoy all of additional little amenities that Delphine provided, including a pool, outdoor sitting area for a picnic, fire pit, and couches/fireplace in the common area downstairs. If we are lucky enough to go back to Charlevoix soon, we will definitely stay here again!…
First time at this bed and breakfast and it was a very good experience! Delphine is an excellent host. Breakfast in the morning is provided and with 2 choices daily! Will definitely go back next year!!
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in September, and could easily have stayed for more. Baie-St-Paul is a naturally beautiful town with many art galleries, but we were blown away with the wonderful hiking in the Parc des Grand Jardin (30 minute drive from town), and the walks in town. The B&B is an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of town, and about 10 minutes to the St. Lawrence. The B&B is warm, spotless, and we were served delicious breakfasts. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We're looking forward to using the pool next time.
This was such a lovely place to stay, with caring hosts, in a gorgeous little town. I loved exploring historic Baie St Paul and the surrounding countryside, and having the Picasso room to retreat to. Delicious breakfast, with a view of the river. Comfy bed, lots of sunshine. The only (minor) disappointment was that the weather wasn't warm enough to swim in late May or go kayaking. This was my first trip outside of Quebec City and Montreal, and I'm very glad I ventured beyond the city. So close to QC but a world away. Don't miss a walk out by the quay or a visit to the nearby papermaking museum and L'Isle-aux-Coudres. Lots of very good cheese, pate, and charcuterie in this region.
