My wife and I recently stayed one night here, and we loved it! Not only were the accommodations clean and cozy, but the service was great too. Upon arrival, Elizabeth showed us a map of town and recommended some hikes and some restaurants. Also, we had decided to stay another night in El Chalten, and although Elizabeth did not have...

What a friendly experience. Great place to base camp during our hiking adventures in El Chalten. The owner Elizabeth is super friendly and makes you feel like a family member. Rooms are comfy and clean. Breakfast is ready and waiting early. Allowing you to get out and start your long hikes. Great location in town. Easy to recommend.

Small hospedaje in the cozy village of El Chalten. The owner Elisabeth is very helpful in geting the maximum out of your stay in El Chalten but understanding Spanish is big advantage! No communal rooms so breakfast has to be taken in the bedrooms. Wifi availability limited to the evenings. Clean place to stay although two of us had small...

We liked the short distance to the bus station, walks and restaurant. The room suited us because we were already paying for an apartment in El Calafate. It rained for most of our stay -one night. The tiny entry provides only enough shelter. It was nice to be able to make a cup of tea after an afternoon walking. We...

We stayed there 3 nights in February. The double room with private bathroom was quite spacious and comfortable. The owner, Elizabeth was very friendly and helpful. There are couple of things that should be improved. First of all, there is no common place where you can relax or have a cup of coffee. The breakfast is extremely poor and you...

Located not far from town centre and bus station. The room was rather small with no place to have ones breakfast. One would have to sit on the bed as no chairs or table . The staff recently employed had no clue, thought we stay one night when 2 night were booked.she provided a hot water kettle but no cups ,...

Great place close to bus station. Great welcome from reception staff giving map of area and recommended restaurants. Also gave walk advice and which routes to take depending on weather. Wifi available but through satellite connection, same for whole of town so expect to be slower. Cosy and clean rooms. Nice clean bathroom with good shower. Breakfast left overnight on...

Small, cozy, personal, comfortable and clean. Only two rooms set apart from the main house keep things very quiet; however, when needed, Elizabeth and the other staff were readily available and very helpful. Breakfast is simple and set outside the door to make it easy for early hike departures.

There seem to be only a certain number of things to do in Chaltern and most hostels have the same advice regarding the hikes. The owner of this Hospedaje (which is a small building on the property of the owner containing two rooms) is very hospitable and kind but just gives the usual information. The rooms are small and quite...
