Residencial Vaianny is a good hostel for a good price. It's located on a small street just besides the main road in Hanga Roa. Within 2 minutes you can reach a bunch of restaurants, car rentals, and a small beach. I stayed for a week from December to January. Keka, the owner, picked me up at the airport and took...

I stayed as a solo traveler in a single room for 4 nights. Note that it is cash only. The conversion rate was favorable for USD so I paid in dollars, but be aware that you should have new bills in mint condition. I had a few that had small tears that were not accepted. Keka was very kind, as...

So I chose this location for the price and location...both of which I was very pleased about. I was staying on the island for 10 days so price was definitely a determining factor! I was a bit perplexed to arrive and discover that she wasn't willing to accept Visa for the payment...I'm pretty sure this was not on the site...

Based on reviews and price I reserved a room here. Though Keka said she would pick me up at the airport, she didn't for some reason. When I called her she said to take a taxi at her expense. Got a free ride from another hotel shuttle though. My limited Spanish made communication a little tricky but we managed to...

The location was absolutely perfect for the center of town. The accommodations were clean and well kept. It was great to be picked up at the airport and Keka gave us a quick drive around the center and pointed out key locations such as the market, bank, restaurants, etc. She spent time walking through the map and island highlighting where...

Highly affordable, clean rooms, each room has its own bathroom and free breakfast! Granted the town is small, but the hostel is in a great location close to the airport and the main strip. Wifi is slow, but that's to be expected anywhere on the island. I felt myself and my belongings were completely safe, and the host was very...

Vaianny has a great location, pretty much in a center of Hanga Roa. I managed to walk there with my backpack all the way from the airport in about 15/20min. The place is clean and tidy, beds are comfortable and shower has a hot water. Breakfast served by Keka is very nice as well. Despite a language barrier (my limited...

Things started off great as the host, Keka, picked me up at the airport and used her famousity to get us through to departures so I could briefly chat with another traveller (a long story!) before he flew out. Similar to other guests I had to stay in her mothers’ lodge just next door due to over booking (seems intentional...

I stayed for two nights. First, location is good. It's very close to the main street but it's quite at night. You can walk to the port, post office, bank and Tahai, where sunset is good, on foot. Second, room conditions are good. It's clean, well maintained. Bed is comfortable and bathroom are clean too. Common kitchen is great and...
