The only safe place in Caracas is Altamira and the hotel options there are so full of scams. This place is pretty, new looking and comfortable. The best price-quality option I've seen. The bed is the best part of the room, big and nice, the balcony is just an unfinished extension of the room, not awesome view or something like...

All dirty and moldy bathroom. The bathroom floor looks like never been clean. The carpets were all dirty. Soiled towels and rough. The welcome fruit platter was rotten. The air conditioner noisy and didn't work well. At least the personnel attention was good.

i had just a night in the hotel in caracas. The hotel is located in Altamira district and we were able to go walking also in the night in the streets close to the hotel ( also 20 minute walking far from) with no worries and problem at all. Near there are also more restaurant and bar very nice and...

The hotel is well located. There is only a 5 minute walk to the Metro station Altamira. The reception staff speaks English. All the staff were friendly and helping. The room has a good size. All rooms have a balcony. From my balcony I could see part of the city and partly mountains. Shower cabin is quite large, you can...

The VIP is located in one of the safest neighborhoods in Caracas. Nearby some nice restaurants, you can walk for 10min during daytime without any problem. Rooms in the hotel are big and comfortable – my room had a special balcony with a bed and chairs, very nice for a night drink. Internet works well, breakfast is enough (although with...

Before I reserved this hotel I read other reviews that said the staff were unhelpful and that no one spoke English. This is just not true. There were at least 3 staff on reception who spoke good English and everyone in the hotel was very helpful to two travellers who were visiting a city with a terrible reputation. The hotel...

I travelled to Caracas with 2 friends. We chose the VIP based on what we read on trip advisor. The hotel itself has all the amenities one may ask for (other than a pool and a gymnasium). The rooms are well appointed. And clean. The issue is the people. From reception. To the restaurant. To the bar. My friends and...

I had travelled to Caracas, Venezuela on a Business trip this August. I stayed at this hotel for 3 days. Hotel is good with descent enough rooms. Breakfast was ok with good fruit options. Only negative is that hardly any hotel staff understands English. I had tough time communicating with them.

Arrived late at night with no luggage as it had been lost by the airline. Hotel was fantastic in getting what clothes I had on my back washed and pressed for me for an early departure the following morning. I needed cash and they escorted me to an ATM machine nearby to ensure my safety. When i arrived back for...

The hotel is situated in the Altamira area, surrounded by good restaurants and a metro connection. The area ranks as one of the 'safest' in Caracas. This is a great business hotel. The connection to central downtown by subway is about 35 mins door to door. The hotel has the features expected for the business traveler and the room sizes...
