We did a reservation by phone and they send us a confirmation by email with the price of two nights, when we arrived to check in as scheduled they charged us the total amount of the stay. first night was regular since the air conditioner didn't work and we couldn't sleep that night but we insisted the day after and...

It's located in a nice place, you can walk around and find many place to eat drink and also to dance. The breakfast is good and the people are friendly. I loved my room. I realy enjoyed my stay there.

Overall service was great. I really liked the fact that we could order breakfast over a list of items that were freshly cooked. Particularly, I don't like buffet breakfast. My only observation is that I went to ask something to the front desk and the guy was constantly begging for us to pay for the entire stay in the hotel....

Since the hotel had a recent overhaul on the inside it became a true gem in Caracas. The outside still has to be redone. The people at the reception are very nice and helpful and assist with anything needed from taxi's to directions. The rooms are new and clean. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the restaurant...

This is WORST Hotel I ever been in! It is indeed locaded in a very nice and pleaseant neighborhood (Altamira) where you can walk without any problems to restaurantes and bars close by and in Caracas this is not an easy task as it it one of the most dangerous cities in the world. This nice area doesn't tell you...

Despite the very good location at Altamira neighborhood this building cannot be called a Hotel. It's very old and there's no maintenance at all. I was there with some work collegues and all the rooms were awful, dirty and old. The breakfast is very simple with some bread, ham, cheese and 2 options of fruits. Some of the lights work...

We made a reservation to check in after flight, around 6 a.m. We arrived at the hotel and it was (!?) closed! Yes, like you see in films, with a bar on the door and with lights off. The attendendant was sleeping, he woke up and said that we could come to the rooms only when they were arranged, and...

...Hotel Continental Altamira was a really good hotel. I will keep this review as brief as possible. PRO's: -Great shower water pressure (you will need to massage your aching muscles from sleeping on the torture rack that is in the bedroom). -Great cross ventilation (The A/C performance is unreliable). -Location. Close to the Altamira Metro Station and good restaurants. CON's:...

The only good thing about this hotel is the Italian restaurant you will find across the street. The rooms are run down and dirty. No internet at the rooms and the lobby wifi work sometimes... The rate was raised to the double on April to about $200 if you pay with credit card or the official exchange. Don’t bother and...
