The staff was really rude. The lady who attend the office was the worst receptionist in the world. The office was closed most of the time. The Posada didn't have water to shower or brush your teeth and they didn't even try to fix it. The room was dirty and smells terribly bad.

Eric the owner is a very welcoming person who makes you feel safe and at home right away. The rooms are spacious and there are hot showers. I stayed here before and after my 6 day hike to Mount Roraima, which was also organized by Eric and was terrific as well. I can highly recommend this place for a good...

Eric seams like a busy guy, but still manages to to deal professionally with every single customer. We took a trip to Roraima that was organised by Eric and his team. 6 days will remain in my memory for the rest of my life. For that big thank you to Benetton Goméz who was in charge of keeping us alive....

Besides the rooms being very clean, affordable and spacy, and the tours into the Gran Sabana very professional... I appreciated all the extras that were offered by Eric and Gert. They provided me with a ton of information about places to visit in Venezuela and how to get there... My bus ticket was arranged by them and they even dropped...

Posada Backpackers was a fine property, especially for the extremely low price. The rooms are large and the staff is friendly. All said and done, I would not stay there again. Here's why: -The bar downstairs plays loud music until 11 PM at night, -The rooms could have been cleaner and had a better odor, -In case you have a...

Its a nice enough place, but nothing to shout about. Rooms are big and clean. Was a little annoyed that they wouldn't give me the dorm price because 'I haven't got anyone to share with'! Erm, not sure they quite understand what a dorm is....not my problem its low season! I did te Roraima trek with their agency, and would...

Well the rooms are ok for the price, at least if you have a choice which bed you want to use in the room. The bathroom is small, especially the shower and the hot water doesn't work in all rooms or all times. The service offered and the friendlyness of the staff is terrible. The restaurant sometimes offers breakfast and...

Coming to the end of three years travelling in South America, this was, without doubt, the best value for money hostel on my whole trip. A large, spotless room with ensuite, fan, writing desk and wifi... for about $5. It's just a couple of blocks from the town centre, and although my room was right on the front, there was...
