My friend and I spent two nights here and had a great time. I had messed up the booking and Monsieur Joseph didn't know we were coming, but was so accomodating and kind. It was 60,000AR/night plus meals, typical restaurant prices. It was cold and rainy so we had a roaring fire in the fireplace each night as we went...

This accomodation is an excellent base for guided visits to Natonal Park Andasibe and other parks in the direct neighbourhood. From here day- and night walks can be made to these highly valued biodiverse areas. The accomodation consists of a central meeting-/eating room, not very exciting, and several huts, made with local material in a green suurounding. The huts are...

Having spent over a week in Madagascar already and been served bread and butter for breakfast every day (with an egg if we were lucky), we could not believe our luck when we received a plate of TOASTED baguette with butter melted into it! This is the best breakfast we've had in Madasgascar. The eggs were cooked well and garnished...

If you are here for birding and not fussed about luxury, this is your kind of place. The bungalows are really cute and have a nice deck to sit and watch birds. The property is very close to the Andasibe National Park, you could walk if you didn't come with a car. Guides are available at the park, actually they...

First I should say that this is really a restaurant with pretty gardens containing lodges. It is not what you would think of normally as a hotel. We volunteered in Madagascar with a great organisation called AMI. At the end of the volunteering we allowed a week or so to go to the rainforest at Andasibe. We stayed a couple...

One of those hotels that don't invite the guests to stop there unless they have to. Very different rooms and bungalows build without any apparent logic, poorly lit in the dining room (one can hardly distinguish what’s served). Can be OK if nothing else is available.

The place is very well located near Andasibe center. The bungalows are very nice and comfortable. The owner is fantastic, very pleasant, polite and helpful! The food is also great! We even saw lemurs just outside the hotel!

Hotel is in walking distance from the train station (10 min) but you better let them pick you up ‘cos the weekly train from Tamatave usually arrives late. There are different kinds of bungalows, if you don’t choose the cheapest you’ll get great value – only 54.000 Ar for a huge 2-storey clean bungalow even with fireplace. There is a...
