We came to this place quite unexpectedly after our room had been burglarized at a nearby hotel. They were very accommodating to book us two nights on short notice. They take credit cards which is a huge help because a lot of places in Madagascar do not. There seems to be a lot of variations on rooming situations at this...

Accomodation very sub-standard. Tepid shower, foam mattress so thin that I had to double it up. Restaurant food, both breakfast and dinner cooked by inexperienced (chef) cook. No internet. Avoid this place!

This was a real gem - lovely little bungalows clustered around a lake. From the porch you can watch birds fish in the lake and hear the Indri calling from the nearby forest. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was chilly at night but they provided plenty of warm blankets. The sleep quality was great -...

The huts are very nice and right amidst the rain forest. You will feel one with nature there. Accommodation was clean and we also warm water though you have to be careful and when you find warm water use it as if all the people staying there take a shower at the same time I doubt there will be for...

First of all: don't just come to Andasibe to see the Indri. The Andasibe surroundings have so much more to offer! We stayed a week and could have stayed longer. Went to Andasibe Parc National of course, but also to Mantadia, Mitsinjo, VOI MMA, Vohimana and Torotorofotsy. All worth visiting! Usp's Andasibe Forest Lodge: away from the RN2, so no...

Our bird watching group stayed here for 3 nights during a month long tour of Madagascar. The lodge has a number of thatch roofed A framed cabins around a small pond that unfortunately was going dry when we were there. There was hot water instantly in the bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent considering...

We stayed at Andasibe Forest Lodge for 4 nights in September. We received a warm welcome from the wonderful staff, with a lovely drink. The bungalows are basic but clean. The bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net. The shower had plenty of hot water and good power. As with much of Madagascar outside of Tana, the electricity is...

We stayed at the Andasibe Forest Lodge for four nights this September and found it a really great place to stay that I would highly recommend. The accommodation made up of small bungalows is simple but very comfortable with double bed, mosquito net and hot running water which was a blessing after the last hotel we stayed in which had...

Don’t let the turn of the RN2 behind a shack & down a dirt track put you off as you’ll be very pleasantly surprised. The chalets here are pretty simple but are nicely set out around a small lake (complete with kingfisher) and are clean & comfortable. It was quite late in the afternoon by the time we arrived and...

The lodge is situated just outside the National Park and is a great place to watch the mists rise over the rainforest in the early morning. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff are helpful and friendly. All in all,a great place to stay.
