This charming small hotel is right on the Buffalo River and has beautiful, spacious suites that are very affordable. When we asked for a discount, they gave us their best suite at the lowest price offering.

The Arkansas House is a real gem! We stayed in the Rose suite. It was very nice, clean and affordable. The room was furnished beautifully. A coffee pot was provided with gourmet coffee, Tru-Moo creamer and organic sugars. The shower was awesome, with superb water pressure and a convenient body wash/shampoo/conditioner dispenser on the shower wall. We ate dinner at...

We stayed in the cabin that is directly behind the AH restaurant and inn. It was a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean and spacious, especially the kitchen. The private garden was right outside the door. In walking distance of all that Jasper has to offer. WiFi was sometimes spotty but I am so used to not having any service...

My husband and I came to the Arkansas House, lured by the pictures of the Buffalo River behind one of the rooms. We did not know that the picture had been taken when the river was high- which wasn't the case while we were there. The river could not be seen from our room. The place is dated, but the...

The Arkansas house is in a great location for those looking to explore the area. It is in walking distance of the downtown area and food. The rooms are clean and neat but just a bit dated. This did not hurt our experience while staying there. Be sure to eat at the restaurant too, it was very tasty!

This hotel in Jasper is a good location if you're visiting/hiking the upper Buffalo National River area. Jasper is one of the "big" small towns in the area, with good services like gas stations, pharmacy and grocery store. Three cafes are within walking distance of the inn; the Subway is a short drive for a quicker breakfast to get an...

I was very pleased with the Arkansas House and plan to go back. If this facility was in another town, rates would be at least 3 times higher. They are very health conscience and use only natural cleaning supplies, and that includes the soap in the bathroom. These people take pride in the quality and services and it shows. The...

We found this hotel on a recommendation of the waitress in a local restaurant. Janet, the owner, is an independent lady, running the hotel, restaurant and beauty shop on the property, plus her own farm. We had a suite on the first floor in an old, well maintained building. It was very clean, nicely appointed and roomy. The bed was...
