We stayed at Tambo Aymara for one night on our way back from Sud Lipez and the hotel was fine for one night. Positive: the colonial building has a nice feel to it. Our room (Urus) was clean and very spacious - and not as cold as what other travelers seem to have experienced (the heating helped). The bed was...

In Uyuni you will not have many choices as regards hotels: the area is fascinating but very very poor. However this hotel, though having a nice overall atmosphere, has some problems as regards hospitality. 1. by night temperature can go, in this period - July-August - below -15-20 degrees Celsius. The rooms are cold as an igloo and the only...

it is Bolivia! so you better change as they will not for you! we were given the top room! huge!!! 4 beds and room for 4 more! but in Uyuni they have no gas heating! we were given 1 radiator and after fighting we got a second one!! wind was blowing so temprature dropped to -20C in the room! beds...

The hotel is clean but maybe you best option in Uyuni, but when you are paying 400 Bolivianos a night you at the very least expect a hot shower. If you stay here, maybe plan on skipping the shower. Also the staff were not very helpful or inviting (I felt like I was putting them out when I asked for...

Stayed here one night after our three day salt flat tour. We stayed here In the middle of April and there was plenty of room and we didn't need a reservation but had booked one anyway. Yes, it was cold, the entire town of uyuni was cold, but there was a heater in the bedroom. Yes, the beds were hard,...

We had a nice time at Tambo Aymara. We were travelling through Uyuni and we stayed a night at this hotel before we transferred out. The rooms, although a little small were very clean and well-maintained. The staff were extremely nice to us. We saw that they did not have vegetarian options, so we asked them if we could use...

Uyuni does not inspire one to hope for good things from it´s hotels. If you have been to Uyuni you will know what I mean. (Cold, windswept, cultural wasteland, and tour ticket touts. However this hotel was very comfortable. Heaters in all the rooms - you really need this - hot water - you really need this too - and...

Is one of the best in comfort and facilities in all Uyuni. Is very cosy and has some ethnical charming. They bake the bread every morning. Also is the only one hotel in town which has a sunny patio with flowers. Simply lovely.

One of the guide books calls this the most "stylish" option in town, and it may well be. It does look pretty good. The good: Very short walk from the bus drop off area, short further walk to the tour agency offices to join your salt flat tour. The pillows were nice. The towels were fluffy. The staff, who did...

Nice hotel in Uyuni. Colonial style, clean room, with good amenities for Uyuni. Nice bathroom, modern. Wifi is only at the lobby, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Recommended. About BS 380 a night, but worth it, specially after a 3-day trip in the desert!
