This place was ok but the beach is nothing like some places in Haapai. Hut was nice and comfortable. Annoyingly we had issues with water as the boiler can only be fixed by one person (who is never around)... we dont mind cold showers etc...More
Stayed at Heilala Lodge for 5nts in October '17 to celebrate my birthday. First 3 days 28degs, glorious heavenly beach time with only a scattering of people. Snorkelling is pretty nice though coral is generally brown and uninteresting there are plenty of colourful fish. 4th...More
We stayed in a Superior Fale mid- January 2018. Your panoramic view on your web-site doesn't do this place justice. It is far more beautiful (especially the garden area) than portrayed.

Malo e lelei Erins S,
Thanks for your message! Yes there is a fridge/freezer in the communal kitchen. All our Beds are a standard medium firm. If you find "on arrival" that you need a softer mattress, please talk to us and we will be happy to see if we have any spares that better suit your needs. Deep Blue can in some cases collect from our Lodge, it will be best to check this with them, the deep Blue boat departs from the wharf in Nuku'alofa. Also, there is no need to pre-book scooters... in fact we do not currently offer pre-booking for scooters until guests have arrived. Hope this helps, Ofa atu and See you soon!
