Want to get away from city life??try Heilala Tonga, What a fantastic hidden get away lodge. Lovely Staff, nice accommodation, perfect location, rooms are a couple of steps from the beach! Perfect. . We stayed in the Tongan Fale, as the superior wasn't available, but never the less there was the use of a shared kitchen if you opted to...

Three factors contribute to making this holiday hideaway quite magical: the warm and friendly hospitality of Sven, his wife Karolina and their great staff; the fantastic location alongside the beautiful Ha'atafu Beach (with safe and amazing snorkelling); and the clean comfortable accommodation set among well kept grounds. Our family enjoyed our meals at the lodge's restaurant (especially the beach barbecue...

Sven and his crew are just amazing. They take care of you and help you to make your trip as pleasant as possible. The breakfast is amazing and also the choice of dinner is fantastic. The accommodation is clean and just wonderful. Very clean gardens and not even a minute to the beautiful white sand beach. Thumbs up - probably...

We had a fantastic 5 night break in Tonga staying at the lodge. We were warmly welcomed at the airport and throughout our stay and as the aircraft arrived around 6:30pm we were taken to town for dinner before travelling on to the lodge located about 45 minutes from the airport. Our fale was well equipped with everything we needed...

Tonga's best kept secret! What a true little paradise we found when my partner and I recently stayed here for 5 nights. From being picked up from the airport, who kindly took us into town to get something to eat at Friends Cafe as we arrived too late for lunch to being welcomed by Karolina at the resort. Her husband...

Shame we never met this Sven guy, he sounds as cool as his lovely wife! 6 of us (3 couples) booked as part of a holiday package. What a wonderful place to stumble upon! Sure, the restaurant has limited options (but I'd prefer that to the average service and food we received at a bigger resort down the beach!). The...

If you're looking for a friendly, relaxed, quiet place to stay this is it! Sven and Karolina make everyone feel like they're staying with friends. Fantastic for couples or families with children 8yrs+. We stayed in a superior Fale which has bathroom. Was modest and comfortable. All the fales have mosquito screens over windows however we took a mosquito net...

We organised a 5 night romantic holiday for two with Heilala Holiday Resort based on the Trip Advisor feed back and we were not disappointed. The hotel pick-up was waiting for us on arrival with a lei each, a wonderful touch. We were driven about 40mins to the lodge and shown to our rooms by Aleki who explained the room...
