We (three female friends in our 40s) shared a tent-cabin for two nights. We had a king bed, a single bed, and a second temporary single bed was added to our room. Pros: room was spacious, beds were comfortable, bathroom setup was great -- separate toilet room and huge shower with a door, which meant multiple people could use the bathroom at once while still having privacy, and we loved the turn-down service that included hot water bottles in the beds. Cons: room was dark at night and we had trouble getting hot water for our showers (the first night was better than the second night). Several meals were buffet-style; the ones where we ordered from a menu took awhile (great if you're looking for a leisurely meal; not great if you're trying to are rushing out the door to an activity with a guide.) My favorite part was the location -- our boat safari departed from just steps away from our cabin! The staff were friendly, and there were numerous COVID safety protocols in place (temperature checks upon arrival, masks required, hand-washing stations throughout). A note about tipping: if we had to do it all over again, we would have left a tip in the communal tip box. We left a housekeeping tip in the room, but aren't sure if the housekeepers got it. (When we unexpectedly went back to the room after breakfast to brush our teeth, the tip we had left on the bedside table was already gone, even though housekeeping hadn't come yet, but some staff thought we had checked out.)

We stayed here two nights in a HUGE but somewhat rustic (compared to other camps) permanent tent. We had two beds, a writing table, a kettle in the room (much appreciated!) with coffee & tea, and a HUGE bathroom with tons of storage and huge mirrors. However, the shower didn't work. We had hot water thankfully, but no shower so we had to shower under the faucet. Not a deal-breaker but having a working shower would have been nice. They attempted to fix it but the next day it still did not work. They offered to move us to another tent but it was 8:30 at night and I was already in my PJs and in bed so we said no. We showered in the other tent the next morning. They did give us hot water bottles to sleep with at night and these were amazing!!! The dining area is small and intimate but the food was wonderful!! The chef more than accommodated my vegan diet - he even had vegan soups!!! It was buffet but seemed made to order for me! The check-in and reception were adequate, nothing special. The grounds were lovely and the hippo boat ride was very enjoyable! We saw tons of hippos and the island where Out of Africa was filmed. The birds and their incredible songs filled the air and we really enjoyed falling asleep and waking up to their sound. Wifi was strong and we had plenty of outlets in the room for charging. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would recommend for the value.

Can’t complain about the rooms nor the service. But we were super disappointed at the fact our stay here during the WRC Rally was NOT satisfying at all! Long hours on the road with a ton of traffic left us hungry in spite letting the staff know we would be late and to at least prepare a meal for us by the time we’re back, even if it were packed. But unluckily Naivasha Cresent Camp left us hungry, unsatisfied and absolutely angry!!

Last minute booking at Cresent Camp when a booking elsewhere wasn't honoured. I'm glad we ended up here. Accommodation in permanent tents was rustic, not luxurious but clean and enjoyable. Meals and the bar area both low key with perfectly acceptable food. I enjoyed by time here and would regard it as great value for money.

I stayed here for two nights. The access road gave me some trepidation as as its not well kept but after getting into the facility, any fears were arrayed. The check in was really professional and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The cottage I was given was spacious and wonderful. Cleaning was thorough. WiFi was strong and reliable. Food was also well done but an improvement in variety would be great. One can take boat rides to the Lake and Crescent Island from the hotel. This is a facility I'll certainly return to.
