This hotel has its quirks. Our toilet didn't work, the shower was rubbish, the food was not perfect, but this was the stand out hotel of our tour of Morocco. It felt Moroccan. The toilet was fixed quickly, the staff were helpful and it was stunning. The building is old, the decor is traditional. The little courtyards have a lovely... More

The hotel is beautiful at first glance. But everything is old and broken. Power cuts happened regularly, and the shower in our room couldn't hang from the wall. The rooms are decent size though. The staff is friendly and the pool area is nice. The pool was a bit murky though. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and they serve... More

This hotel gives you the feel of Old World Morocco with its vegetation and layout, but it is very tired and in need of a facelift. While I understand it is a developing country, the hotel is not what is pictured in it's brochure or website. What was once a regal hotel is now a shell of yesteryear. The food... More

This hotel was a wonderful experience, certainly not 5 star buy it oozes the history of old Morroco. A lot of travellers find fault with some aspects however they obviously do not see the charm of this hotel in the desert. The staff were wonderful and the meals we had there were very good. The little lanes connecting the rooms... More

This was one of the most interesting places we stayed in Morocco. Great jumping off point on the way into the Sahara. Nice pool, good food, and really friendly people. The only issue we had was water leaking in the bathroom, and they came and fixed it right away. I loved their courtyard, which was also a great place to... More

We stayed here as part of a tour with Archers/Cosmos and although the service was excellent, it was Ramandan at the time, there were lots of small repairs that were needed to floors in the corridors and bedrooms. The pool area was excellent but could do with cleaning on a daily basis. Excellent selection for breakfast. Need to install a... More

The pool was lovely, the food was good. However - the room was dark and damp and the floor tiles were breaking and a hazard to the bare feet. We could not open our window or curtain as everyone could see in! The loo had to be attended to as it was continually running. (Avoid room 125) The water pressure... More

Been here many times. Staff helpful & friendly. Rooms large and clean. Great value for money. Only complaint was the amount of smoke in the saloon area of bar. Food excellent Moroccan fare. Within easy reach of dunes.

Although chain hotels are often excellent, there's something "samey" about them but the Kasbah Tizimi is a one-off. It's privately owned by a family and has a lovely atmosphere. In traditional fashion all the bedrooms open onto a central courtyard full of trees and flowering plants which in turn are full of birds. The pool is gorgeous (but, as with... More

This hotel tries to survive, and barely manages. The place looks nice in kasbah style. Rooms are OK with hot/cold A/C (nights can be cold in the desert in winter) and the staff is friendly. The food however is appalling and the restaurant tries to revive the glamour of a French classic place with layers of desert dust on top... More
