The service was superb. It was a long dark walk to the room and you needed a torch but I felt safe.despite the dim or no lighting. There was a luxurious feel. Room designed to look like a Berber tent, very comfortable with adequate lighting. Hotel deigned to look like a Berber village. The buffets were good and there were lots of desserts.... More

I really wanted to give Xaluca a rating of five, but unlike other comments, the water pressure in room nine is terrible. Hardly enough to feel like you could wet your hair or get the shampoo out. The rooms are large, and have an African theme to the decor with scatter rugs, lamps and a wood draped frame over the... More

Stayed for two nights. Room was large but on darkish side. Shower was very very good. Beds were good, although two singles pushed together. After two days out, haggling.. (and quite frankly over it) I would have bought stuff from the beautiful gift shop, but no prices were displayed. Hotel manager : please consider change here.

This is truly a unique hotel in a magical setting. We stayed here as part of a tour group. We were welcomed with mint tea, Moroccan biscuits and welcoming band. Our rooms were very different to anywhere we'd stayed before, a touch of quirkiness. Very spacious, plenty of room for luggage to be spread out! The room had 2 sofas... More

I stayed there for 1 night. Thus place is well designed and quirky. Rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom is ice and clean but there was problems with soap and shampoo. The showers are terrible. Food is good both breakfast and dinner. Tried some grey wine unusual but nice.

I thought I was in heaven. From the moment you step into this hotel, you are transferred to a place you have never been. And it gets better. You are treated to mint tea and biscuits. Then you stroll into the court yard with palm trees filled with dates, clear swimming pools and a large tent. Carpets even in the... More

A wonderful Saharan oasis retreat - like a Berber Disneyland; so much more than just a hotel, it's an experience. The hotel is built around a courtyard pool area with carpets & sunloungers, a bar and a band for entertainment set among date palms so you can help yourself to the fresh dates. Our room was romantically furnished in Berber... More

We stayed here for one night after the long drive from Fez. The accommodation was in bungalows scattered around the perimeter of the hotel. What was unusual was that each bungalow had a common sitting room and dining area for the occupants of two room which were separately locked (and had their own bedroom and bathroom). There were two pools... More

Large hotel with large comfortable rooms that are designed to have a Berber desert character. Several spacious courtyards, a pool, bar and restaurant are all attractive. It is 5 km from the main town but central to many neighbouring historic sites and the dunes. Good service, wifi and other comforts make for a relaxing stay.

This was one place i never need to go to again, weird from start to finish, rooms looked like something from the Flintstones, welcoming band were very annoying, we couldn't use our credit card to pay for anything all they wanted was cash, the pool was pretty.
