Onesmus, the brilliant chap looking after the guest house at the time we were there, is very welcoming, cheerful and helpful. He showed us where to eat, organised us a driver and sorted out two activities for us, offered us African and lemongrass tea and fruits, cooked great breakfasts and was always available for enquires. I booked the Queen Room here, which was spacious but basic. The bed was very comfortable though and has a mosquito net should you need it. There are kitchen facilities to cook dinner for yourself, which can be a good option as some of the better known restaurants are quite a walk away. We had a nice breakfast prepared for...

Two of us stayed here for 2 nights in late May, 2016. This is a great find. We had made reservations by phone, not realizing that there are two venues, a campsite way out-of-town, and the guesthouse in town. We turned up in town, with reservations at the other site. The guesthouse in town was full for that night ,...

The best of this hotel is definitely the customer service. The staff is really helpful and really appreciate all the help, advise and information they offered upon our arrival. It´s not very easy to find, but very close to the bus station -walkable distance carrying backpacks-. The rooms are basic, with comfortable beds with mosquito nets. The BIG problem when...
