We had a fabulous stay, ate well and rested well in very comfortable rooms. The location of the guest house was such that we could walk around town and visit the National Park in the afternoon after we arrived.

We had a wonderful stay at the Karoopark Guest House. The rooms were spotless with safe parking and a sparkling pool. Dinner was delicious. The baked Camembert starter, Kudu steak and Lamb potjie are highly recommended.

What a lovely stay! The room was spotless and one could rewind from a long drive by relaxing at the swimming pool or at their bar.We needn't leave the premise to dine as we could enjoy a scrumptious meal in the a la carte restaurant. We stayed for two nights and we will definitely do so again.Real value for money.

Great place, lovely food at their little a la carte restaurant. Very clean and great value for money. Was really not expecting such a great place. They were very accommodating when at last minute my brother and his girlfriend needed to join us, allowing us to add mattresses to the room as all their other rooms were booked out. The...

We decided to spend 2 nights in Graaff Reinet to explore the area. We loved the town and the guest house was very conveniently situated. Lovely to have a restaurant on site! Rooms very nice and clean...we just felt that it was almost too basic and lacked a homely feeling......but we will be back.

Not the best place to stay, shower didn't work properly, pillows were finished, reception was very short, No DSTV, no WiFi in the rooms. Room had a depressing feel about it. Wouldn't stay there again.

Extremely pleasant little stopover on our roadrtrip down to Cape Town. Staff very friendly and welcoming, even urging us to visit the Valley of Desolation for sunset rather than the following morning, and stocking us up with beers for the sundowners. Pleasant, unfussy lamp potjie for dinner and a great full breakfast (extra). Has a big pool (which we didn't...

We are pleased to have found Karoopark Guest House. Just one night is never enough in Graaff Reinet but that's always what we do - a stopover on a long journey. So we would love to come for a longer stay and Karoopark's hospitality and comfort would be welcome next time round. 800.00 rand per couple per night is really...

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were basic, but clean. The room had air conditioning and a fan, and also a basic coffee station. There was a flat screen TV with basic satellite service (MNET, SABC, eTV and religious channels). There is adequate off-road parking. There is a large swimming pool and a jungle gym and trampoline for the kids....

When we arrived at Graaff Reinet it was almost 40 degrees but Karoopark was like an oasis. The room was nice and cool thanx to the air conditioner. The swimming pool was clean and inviting. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was good food at a good price
