Just returned from our Tanzania Safari trip with last stop at Moshi (Kilemakyaro Mt. lodge). We have never met a more friendlier bunch of people. What made it more special is their genuine willingness to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The manager gave us a personalized tour of the properly and also arranged a trip to local coffee...

Amazing ambience and very friendly service. A breathtaking view of Mt. Kilimanjaro and luscious area to walk and spend quality family time. We stayed overnight and the service as well as food quality was top notch with personalised menu for dinner as well as breakfast. Had an amazing time

We were there to have lunch and what a lovely one we had. There was a lot of space for the children to run around while the adults tried to get a glimpse of the shy Mt. Kilimanjaro. The air is fresh and clean. Staff were helpful and spoke good English unlike some of the places where staff spoke only...

This was our first place to stay after 2 days of travel from New York, via Doha. The drive from the airport in Moshi is bumpy, dusty, crowded. There are amazing street scenes especially the last part when you lurch up to the gates from a bone-shaking journey. The lodge seemed like an oasis after all the travel. The skies...

Mt Kilimanjaro can be viewed from pool but we were there for 4 days in July and covered in cloud every day so never actually saw mountain. Large comfortable bungalows. Nice balcony. Plenty of hot water nice bathroom. No wi-fi available even though advertised on offer. Food/meals OK not great. Lot of items on menu not available.

Great management and very helpful staff. We came as a film crew and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate all of us. Restaurant was ok and made some effort but can do more with some more options on food. Overall a great experience.

The lodge is a 1 star hotel priced as a 5 star hotel. The food is disgusting, there are no aircons in the rooms and the management of the lodge is plain dishonest. I wont be using Kilimakyaro lodge again.

Very nice property with comfortable and private bungalows situated around a pool and a sloping hill with terraced walkways. Really a bit more of a destination and "lets hang out at the hotel a little" than a stop of a busy itinerary. However, this is where you'd want to come back to after a climb; and the meal service was...

Our starting point for our charity cycle ride through Tanzania. Be warned though, unless you know where you are going you could end up never finding this place as it's down a fairly narrow dirt road, probably didn't help that we arrived in the dark. Lovely little bungalow type rooms dotted around the grounds, but some seem to have been...

I stayed here as part of a large group about to embark on a 400km cycle ride. The lodge was comfortable and clean, my bed was extremely comfortable with mosquito nets. The room and facilities were all basic but good. Shower worked well with plenty of hot water. Room was spacious with three double beds. Pool was clean. Food was...
