When I arrived at the hotel close to midnight, it wasn't totally clear where I should go. I think the staff are so used to the routine for the Kili tour guests, that they assume we know it too. Then they sent me to this awful room (if you get the old fashion keys that go into a key hole,...

The hotel is a base for a lot of travellers going to Kilimanjaro. There is a great international atmosphere and you really feel "like travelling in Africa". But the management is terrible. The friendly but officious staff was telling us when to eat, when to go the pool and so on....

Dear Nicolai We hope you had a nice trip, Enjoying great International atmosphere and good feel of traveling to Africa. We have noted your concern about management and the meal times. Please note that most hotels around here have defined meal times, e.g breakfast time, lunch and dinner times, but we also have provision of preparing any meal even at...

Springlands Hotel is a wonderful place to begin your Kilimanjaro and/or Safari adventure. You will be warmly greeted and treated like a welcome guest but you will also see that it is just one big family and soon you will become part of it. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious. It's basic but very comfortable. There is...

It is a life changing experience. great hotel, enthusiastic staff, brilliant facilities, tasty food, nice porters and the best guides are Raymond, Felix and Julius (Lara), I highly recommend them as they will be the one of the most important part of your trip. They will make sure you get to the roof of Africa while sharing their kindness, knowledge...

This hotel is on the basic side but a great spot to stay before and after you climb Mount Kilimajaro. The lunch and dinner buffets offer great value and the place is clean. On our return from our hike the place seemed to have more appeal but perhaps this was due to the warm showers after 7 days of having...

In Springlands Hotel I started my Kili climb and Safari. It was my first visite in Africa and I was really surprised to have a such super-service! An amazing buffet for breakfast, also for lunch and of course the finest ingredients for dinner, too! All the waiter ( women and men) were so friendly. They all have style! Just as...

We stayed here before and after our climb at the start of October. The rooms are clean and have everything you need but are not luxurious or anything so dont expect 5 star. The restaraunt had a buffet style and the food was good and plenty of choices so i would not complain all about this. If you want 5...

We recently stayed as a group of 4 in the Springlands hotel in Moshi. We booked our Kili climb and Safari through Zara tours, and stayed at this hotel as part of the package. My review will cover Zara tours AND the Springlands, as I can't find separate listings. I can't say enough great things about our tours. The Kili...

I am giving the Springlands hotel a 5 star review, although the 5 stars really applies towards the Kilimanjaro climb and the safari, not the hotel. I don't see a separate place in Tripadvisor to review their tours. First, about the tours. We had a wonderful time on both the climb and the safari. On the climb, we had wonderful...

I climbed the Mountain and did the Safari with Zara Tours- got to meet awesome people there. Staying at the hotel was wonderful- the staff were great and the environment was perfect. I felt part of a family with the guides and porters and reaching the summit was once in a lifetime experience! I highly recommend for YOU, whoever out...
