Hotel is lying in centre of Moshi. We came from Mkomazi National Parc that day. First we wanted to drive to Arusha for overnight but was too far, Moshi is an good place in between. Next day we walked around the place, all friendly people.
I was fortunate enough to stay at the Parkview Inn both before and after my climb of Kilimanjaro. From the moment I walked in the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was both restful and enjoyable. The hotel let us leave some personal items behind while climbing so I didn't have to carry it up and down the moment or risk the items I purchased getting lost or damaged. When I returned 8 days later they remembered my name and went straight to work getting me taken care of and into a clean and restful room post climb. I cannot say enough about the amazing staff at this hotel. The price is incredibly reasonable for the excellent accommodations.
The Parkview Inn was the hotel that Ultimate Kilimanjaro put me in before/after my Kilimanjaro hike - I arrived Sept 19th - checked in, had help with my bags, and realized this place was really nice. It's in Moshi City - maybe 10-15 walk to the market area. The bed(s) were a little firm but were fine nonetheless. The pool looked inviting but I never got a chance to swim. That evening I wasnt up for leaving the (gated) property so I ate at the restaurant at the hotel. I got fried fish, chips, a beer, and ugali for maybe $7usd (I left a $3 tip and just gave her a $10). WIFI worked well which was helpful. The next morning we were able to lock anything up we were not taking on the hike - that was nice. After our 8 day hike we were greeted by the lady (who knew all our names still), and again someone helped me with my bags. The rooms have A/C units and a mini fridge and TV (but I never watched TV). The final night we all went out to eat and the lady recommended a taxi/bus and arranged pickup which was super helpful. This place was part of our package with U.K. so I really dont know what a night stay costs but I felt like the service and amenities were outstanding.…
Stayed for 2 nights recently before Kilimanjaro climb. The hotel is very clean with a pretty swimming pool area where I sat for hours reading. Staff are very friendly and happy to help. Food is simple and tasty. One of the few places I stayed that provided shampoo without me having to ask (the African hairstyle often does not require a lot of shampoo apparently). A good base for starting exploration.
This was a wonderful spot to call home for three nights during these challenging travel times. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They did our laundry after long travel days, and printed out business documents I needed to complete. They offered assistance and a smile at every turn. Susan was an exceptionally helpful friendly staff member. The pool is beautiful and we caught a glimpse of Kilimanjaro at sunset from the loungers. The breakfast is hearty with fruit, eggs, pancakes, etc. The rooms are very clean, with mosquito nets (though we didn't find many mosquitoes).
