We loved Lemala Ndutu!!! We came here after a trip to Ngorogoro Crater and were immediately struck by the feeling of being in the true wilderness. We could hear lions calling as we lay in bed each night. This is clearly a mobile camp which means you don't have all of the usual luxuries but this is one the most... More

Reading your review gave me such a warm feeling of satisfaction that we had accomplished what we set out to do and that was to provide you a truly authentic experience that was throughly enjoyed. I wish I had been there to see the giraffe being knocked out - in all my years of watching them do this I have... More

This was our first tented camp experience and we are glad that we did it. Initially we were a bit apprehensive as I am not a person who likes to rough it out. But the camp had all the comforts of a lodge with the uniqueness of being in the bush. We saw many animals just outside our camp. The... More

This is a semi permanent tented camp. We enjoyed our two day stay here very much. Everyone was delightful, the food was very good, the beds were large and comfortable, the rooms had plenty of space and were well equipped with all the essentials. Access to lots of animals was only a short drive away.

Given that this is a temporary camp, the accommodations were excellent. The location made us feel as if we were part of the process rather than on a Disney tour. The staff was warm, friendly and well informed.

When we arrived at the Lemala Ndutu camp on a late afternoon, it was raining cats and dogs, which is not really what you want for a stay in a tented camp! But already the warm, friendly and encouraging welcome by the staff made us feel confident. Fortunately the rain subsided during the night and there was no reason left... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our property. Being a mobile camp we are limited to what we can do to make a stay and water contributes a high factor in this. We have taken on board your comments and whilst we are on a eco friendly system, during the low season we are looking at... More

Lemala is Tented Camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is a semi-permanent camp as it moves to the north of the Senengeti (Mara River) as the migration moves to the north. The facilities are excellent and the service is perfect. The food is wonderful, with a taste of local Tanzanian dishes at each dinner. If you have never used... More
