A luxury 5-star hotel at the top of the Ngorongoro crater. If you plan on staying anywhere near the Ngorongoro crater, this is a must hotel. There is a main lodge where meals are served. And then the real treat is that you stay in your own private building which contains your luxury bedroom, your luxury bathroom, along with several...

Crater Lodge was our second stop on our 2 week honeymoon in Africa. We had high expectations for this lodge based on reviews we had read and the price tag and it did NOT disappoint. The architecture of the main lodge and the individual rooms was stunning. It felt eclectic, luxurious and yet, authentic, as well. We walked in and...

This is, without a doubt, the best hotel/lodge/camp I have ever stayed in in Tanzania. The rooms spare no expense in comfort and amenities. I could have stayed all day in the room just enjoying the fireplace, bathtub, bed, everything. The toilet has a window with a view out to the crater, which I found was particularly pleasing to enjoy whilst...

Our group took up several houses at the lodge, and a large table at mealtimes. We stayed here because we wanted to go into the crater and see the wild life there. We took the recommendation of Royal African Safari, and they absolutely made the best choice. This staff really cares about your experience and will do anything to make...

This was the last stop on our Safari Journey. The setting is spectacular, and the rooms are out of this world. They ae very spacious and very comfortable. It feels like a movie set. The staff was amazing, the catered to our every need. We loved it. If you are traveling to Africa, &Beyond is a must.

This was the last stop on our safari adventure and WOW, what a treat! We were amazed at the rooms - first time we were enclosed and had a room key. Quite funny. We stayed in the Tree Camp section - smaller and absolutely stunning! Main lodge built on the cliff around a tree. Staff and service were impeccable! We...

Talk about over the top! over the top decoration, over the top service, over the top luxury! It is an extraordinary experience, and you should definitely splurge and stay here. Our ranger guide picked us up at Manyara airstrip and drove us to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. As you enter the conservation area, the road becomes horribly bumpy and rough,...

This was the most luxurious place I've eve stayed at. The rooms (if you could call them that) we're absolutely over the top, as we're the views, the animals (buffalo and other creatures wander in front of your room at night), and especially the service - they will bring you anything, any time. The only letdown was the food, which...

Where do you start ???? The entire experience at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is extra-ordinary. The location of the lodge is of course unique - at the crater's edge overlooking the World Heritage site. The staff are the best you will find at a Lodge of this standard. Being in the hospitality industry I was blown away by the attention to...

The whole experience of staying at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge takes your breath away. We were picked up Twalib but our driver/guide for our stay was Peter - thanks Peter for making our stay special and being so informative. We were greeted with a welcomed cup of tea/biscuits at the airport - a lovely touch that &Beyond does for each guest...
