We went as a group of 10 and what a great place. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we had been on safari for 6 days and this was the culmination and they saved the best for last. The rooms were very comfortable and bathrooms great! we had drinks on porch with incredable views of crater. The next...

This is a typical older style 3 star big hotel hundred + rooms built 50+ years ago? Rooms on small size. We booked room with crater view and view was amazing looking right down into Crater. Beds comfortable - bathroom had a shower and Bath nice. Hot water limited and only on so many hours a day. Food buffet style...

The views at this hotel are great, right on the crater rim. The rest of it is very, very average. You wouldn't mind if you were paying normal rates for a 3 star hotel, instead of 6-star rates. To start with: the room walls are made of paper. You will hear every single person on the floor get up at...

My husband and I opted in for a 4 days safari with our Kili Outfitter, Climb Kili, and a night stay at this beautiful hotel was a part of the package. It really was a beautiful hotel with a tasteful and unique decor and truly breathtaking views of the one and only Ngorongo crater! Food was good. Service was ok....

The views from this hotel to the Ngorogoro Crater are absolutely stunning provided there is no mist. Our room had crater views, was nicely furnished and clean with ensuite bathroom. There is no electricity between 11pm-5am and in the afternoon before 5pm. We recommend to bring a torch. Our room 44 only had luke-warm water. We advised the management and...

Great views but the food sucks. The internet is super slow and expensive. The drinks are good but overly priced. The owner of this place likes to milk tourists. The view is stunning though absolutely beautiful. Might stay here again. Maybe.

Stunningly sited on the lip of the crater, this hotel has one of the most sensational views I have seen from a hotel. I had read that rooms are basic - not the case! Mine had a double bed, desk, coffee table and 2 chairs, plus a separate ensuite. Yes,the décor is a little dated - but you don't visit...

We were originally booked for Rhino Lodge which had been overbooked. We were transferred to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge with no choice. Upon arrival this hotel looked great and had spectacular views of the crater. We dropped off our bags in our room and went out on the Lounge Deck to enjoy the views and a cocktail before dinner. I noticed...

My husband, my mother, his mother and I stay at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge one night during a 7 day safari in Tanzania. We stayed mostly in tented camps. This was our only lodge. The place makes a great first impression. The building is just stunning when you see it. And then you go in and the view is even better....

The lodge was built in the 70's and still feels like it, a bit. The décor is a little bizarre, but you're staying here for the view, not the dining room décor. The lounge area opens up to an open deck that is pretty much perched on the south side of the Ngorongoro Crater making for an amazing view of...
