We just finished a three week trip to Africa, Egypt and Tanzania. We stayed at five different camps in Tanzania and this camp is awesome! The very best part about it is the staff. Specifically, Alex, Fidel, Freddie, and Noel were amazing. We really got to know them a bit during our trip and they treated our 11 and 13-year-old...

I was greeted by co-owner Nani upon arrival. So engaged, welcoming, and friendly. Later I got to meet spouse and co-owner Chris which was a wonderful conversation because he knows so much about the culture, tribal people, and environment. I was interested in meeting and hunting with the hunter / gather Hadzabe tribe and Chris has a lifetime of knowledge....

Stayed here 1 night on our way from Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro. Situated right at the banks of Lake Eyasi, unfortunately in this time of year there is no water in the lake. (maybe better considering mosquitos?) Don't expect too much excitement here, just come over to chill & relax. A nice break from seeing wildlife (plenty of birds and...

We loved our stay at Kisima Ngeda. The surroundings were beautiful and serene. Our tent was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Of the various mid-luxury range accommodations we experienced during our 8-day safari, this was the only place that had shampoo and shower gel in refillable glass bottles (instead of disposable plastic). The food was delicious and plentiful. What really...

All comments here are great already I just wanted to ad to this. This is one of the most memorable place we stayed at during our 13 day safari trip. The peace, the sunset, the luxurious tents and the friendliness of the staff are outstadning. Chris the owner came out to say hi during dinner and you can tell he...

It's difficult to translate the quiet beauty of Kisima Ngeda. The light, the wild calls of birds, monkeys and lizards. Local kids playing in nearby, the shussing of wind in the palms. Our family will never forget our morning hunt with the Hadzabe, watching the sunset from the rocky cliff above the camp, the slow afternoons watching the cows and...

Getting there was like passing through wasteland then suddenly you're there and being taken to your tent along the shores of the lake but when we were there the lake was a faint shimmer in the distance. We tried to walk to it but it became more and more muddy. The staff were indeed young but very eager to please....

This was our last camp (more like luxury tented chalets) after a week of safari with Bush2Beach. We only stayed 1 night but 2 is definitely recommended as you get up early to go and see the Hadzabe tribe then the Datoga tribe, very interesting. It would have been lovely to have had another day to relax after our adventurous...

Choose this location for visiting the bushmen tribe and for bird watching rather than for safari game viewing since is out of the way and not near the parks. Is located on Lake Eyasi, however in the dry season the lake almost disappears and you can walk out on the lake floor for miles (along with Maasai cattle). Tents were...

Our first tented experience in Tanzania was one to remember. Great location right on the lake. Gorgeous comfortable tent with all amenities. Excellent food. The owners went out of their way to help us get to know the region and suggest activities. Perfect! We loved the sunset from the treehouse.
