We had to stay in tarakan for one night transit to tawau and lots of other hotel is full even this one, they just had a "vvip" room for us 4pax. Cost around 1mil rp! From the outside and the lobby it looks descent, but once u get pass the lobby, it's all horrid. Dark smelly hallways, tiny stairs and...

We stayed here for one night on the way from Sabah to Derawan. It was a similar standard to most of the similarly priced hotels throughout Kalimantan.
