It's not cheap but the food they serve here is great. Nice wine too, although it can take a little time to find someone to serve you drinks. The wifi works fine near the dining room but not in the houses further away. They have hot water but we stayed in one of the smaller houses and so didn't have...

We had a wonderful time at Namobuddha Resort during our trek. When we arrived we were served a delicious vegetarian lunch. Our cabin was perfect for our family. Clean, comfortable, heated and spacious. We enjoyed wine on the terrace in the evening around the bonfire. The service was fantastic, very friendly people.

We spent 3 nights before a trek here. The location is so peaceful and scenic with plenty of walks around and a beautiful Monastery nearby. The food was amazing and a big highlight of our stay. Highly recommend if you want to spend a few nights away from the busy city.

Following a 3.5 hr hike from Dhulikhel to Namobuddha we stopped in at the resort for a well-earned late lunch. It only did they accommodate us at late notice, We were blessed with a veggie feast straight from the garden, finished off with crepes and homemade ice-cream. Lovely guests to chat with and super friendly staff. Can't comment on the...

A wonderful getaway in a beautiful setting. We had great weather and thus striking views of the Himalayas, as well as the November super moon. I was there for a writers retreat/workshop, and it was a perfect place for it. Minimal distractions and a calm and quiet space. The food and service were excellent. The bungalow style rooms are cozy...

We (me, my wife and nine month old daughter) had gone there for a weekend getaway. Road condition was good, except the last patch (around 150 mtrs), decent parking space. Amazing old fashioned rooms, with all the amenities, no TV though, but the getaway would'nt be peaceful then. Vegetarian (mostly organic) food, we simply loved it. There is a small...

Ingrid you have great place. I know how hard it's to maintain high standards. You do it well. I would just improve a little the amount of food served. Mainly at dinner. Otherwise go for it. If price is a little high for you think how much money we waist on none sense. This is investing in you. Enjoy

I came first to Namobuddha Resort some 15 or 20 years ago. I instantly fell in love with this place. It has a 360 degree view The Himalayas included! The very special organic, vegetarian food is excellent and very fine presented. You have dinner with the owner from Berlin, Ingrid Schneider, accompanied by fine organic wines from Australia if you...

Namobuddha Resort is peaceful, serene, and lovely. Beautiful mountain walks through lush growth, interesting monastery to walk to/around. Bungalow Clean, pleasantly furnished, Newari-style slate-roofed bungalows scattered throughout lush, graceful gardens. Traditional small doors/windows, so mind your head! We stayed in a medium size bungalow: • First floor: Single bed, table, 2-seat sofa & soft chair, desk/chair, & shelves • Second...
