Hotel Hacienda La Venta was a beautiful hotel that came recommended on a business trip. Was a beautiful hotel in Mexico, with a perfect Spanish style and design.

The interior courtyard and hotel layout is set in a beautiful setting within San Juan Del Rio.

Great place, beautiful Mexican Hacienda, with clean cozy rooms and super high speed Internet across the whole property. And super friendly staff.

The pool area is awesome.

The greatest highlight is the food, what a great surprise… the restaurant is a hidden gem!!!

I stayed for 3 nights on a business trip - first time in Mexico. The location doesn’t look good as the hotel is sandwiched between a major road and a petrol station but once inside, all is calm. Quiet cloisters and small courtyard gardens make for a pleasant stay. The room was large, clean and traditional with high ceilings. Breakfast service was polite and efficient although the mainly Mexican menu may not suit all. The pool was closed, and the gym is small but good enough for a short stay. There is a mall opposite for those in need of retail therapy.
Overall the hotel has a quiet colonial feel and I would recommend it.

The best hotel in San juan del rio. The rooms in 300 and above is more modern. The pool area is very nice with a small gym. The food and service is excellent. The only bad about the hotel is the poor internet speed.

Spent three nights here recently. As the name implies, this is an old Hacienda (plantation) that was converted into a hotel. The property is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff is attentive and professional. Great food at the restaurant and the rooms are very very nice for the price.

One thing to keep in mind if you've never been here before is that this Hacienda is not surrounded by lush fields and grassland. It is in the city and surrounded by sprawl. There's a highway on one side and a new and very nice mall on the other. The property itself is walled off from the outside world (and very secure, also). Once you are inside, you forget that you're in the middle of a city.

It's a great hotel and very conveniently located.

We have stayed here in December for the third year. I love how clean and immaculate they keep the grounds. The grounds are beautiful, it's worth taking a walk in to see the grounds. The staff is very professional. The restaurant staff is very prompt and helpful, we have never had a bad meal here. Will continue to stay here when in San Juan.

I have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions while working in San Juan del Rio and I have never been disappointed. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very pleasant. The central garden with its fountain and citrus trees creates a very relaxing context with the bar and restaurant extending into this area so you can sit out and enjoy your drinks and food. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the food is of very good quality. As a business hotel it is a great place to be able to stay and relax after work. I also noticed it does a good non business trade. I would always choose to go back here while staying in San Juan del Rio

I had stayed here in early January, so the hotel was fairly quiet. The room was great and so was the presentation of the lobby. Staff are always around gardening and cleaning around the grounds and everywhere is immaculate.

As for the restaurant, everything I ate here was fantastic. The menu mostly consists of Mexican food, but there are other options from omelettes to steaks.

The next time I'm in San Juan Del Rio, I'll definitely stay here.

What a Great Dinner we Gad at the Hotel Hacienda la venta!
Too bad that we do not think enough to come to the hotel la Hacienda la venta for dinner!

I come here very often for business lunch... but did not make an habit yet to come at night!
That’s too bad since the quality of the dishes are awesome!

More than ever now that Chef Karl Mayrhofler took over the kitchen a few month ago!

Every thing is delicious and service is also very good!

I will be back again very soon!
Congratulations to the team!
Thanks
Francois

Does this hotel have a shuttle service from the Queretaro airport?
Answer from Julio Peralta
Queretaro City, Mexico26 contributions6 helpful votes
Hello, they do not have shuttle service from the airport, but there are several options, you can use the Uber service available at the airport in the city of Queretaro, or ask for a taxi at the airport, both options are safe. Taxi service is more expensive, but for better reference I send you the hotel number +52 427 272 9625 you can dial to request more information, I hope you are useful, Best regards.
