We had the best time in Barahona. Is a boutique hotel. The staff is incredible. They are so ice and pleasant. The rooms are very spacious. We were a group of 20 and everybody was very happy. The beach is literally one minute from the hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent top room ocean view, reasonable price, local creativity with cuisine & bar. An excellent discovery in deep south. Manager Andres, subgerente, bartender & chef will be missed. Returned following week and will be back once/year.

I visited this hotel during the summer with ISV, a group I was travelling with, and we all had an amazing time and the rooms had very comfortable beds with a balcony that has an amazing view to the pool and the area. I highly recommend seeing the sunrise from the balcony of the room as it was one of the best sunrise I have ever seen in my life. Also, the staff are very friendly especially Ismael Carrasco, he helped us a lot and we became friends with many of the staff. Overall, a relaxing and wonderful experience. Highly recommend this hotel.

The service was excellent. The manager, Ismael, was warm, welcoming, engaging, helpful and did everything he could to make us feel welcome. My room was very clean. The bed was extra comfortable; AC worked properly; hot water was on target. The location is wonderful. Situated on the side of a mountain with a view of the Atlantic Ocean across the road. The food was excellent. The grilled vegetables, grilled fish and cherry juice were my favorited. The overall experience at Daymond Blue was great!
