If you are new to Cabarete, this is a great place to stay. It is a small, comfortable hotel directly on the ocean. It is quiet here and you can get lot's of relaxing time reading, swimming, walking the beach. Hector, the manager, is great helping with advice on what to see, when to go, how to get around, history...

Positive: - direct, beautiful beach location - one of the most beautiful beaches of Cabarete (we were on each day, the only ones around) - service in all areas very committes and very personal - super! - pool bar offers a few simple, but freshly and lovingly prepared, delicious breakfast/meals all day long (with special praise to Andres, the chef,...

I traveled in March to Puerto Plata and chose this hotel because of the great reviews and because it was near to the area of Caberete but not right on top of the city. I loved the tranquility of the location. Walking into town via the beach (about 30 minutes) was relaxing and I did this several times without any...

Every review was accurate. Hector is wonderful. 30 minute walk to Cabarete along the beach. My daughter and I enjoyed the breakfast at the breakfast bar right next to the beach. We enjoyed the free internet from our balcony overlooking the beautiful pool. We also enjoyed talking to the other hotel guests who were introduced to us by name at...

We had an absolutely amazing stay, couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. The only negative part was the distance from town. At night I would worry a bit about our safety traveling back and forth. Other than that it was perfect.

My family and I recently returned from a short stay at Barefoot. We had read all the reviews and were looking forward to having the same experience; we were not disappointed. This is a small property found at the very entrance of Cabarete; it is cozy which gives it a feel of being in your own private Villa (at the...

I went to the Barefoot Beach Pad for a week celebrating my 34th birthday. It was such a treat. We stayed in Rm A1 which had 2 balconies and was ocean front. YOu are literally steps from the ocean. Around 3-4pm it gets breezy and you can open the sliding glass doors and let the breeze relax you. The premises...
