We got into Cabarete at 9.30pm in bad weather also very tired after a long bus journey from Punta Cana. The first place I had been advised of was full so we tried the Hotel Kaoba. They had rooms so we decided to stay and sort out long term accommodation the next day. The boy on reception was missing when...

I stayed at the Hotel Kaoba for 5 days. This time around, I enjoyed that the hotel has wifi- throughout the building and even out in the pool. Great to sit on their balcony overlooking the street with morning coffee - and your Ipad to keep in touch. The bar is opened to later and there are locals that come...

I'm really not sure why this place has bad reviews. This place was great, and the price made it even better. I shared a bungalow room with a friend. I think the actual rooms have air conditioning, but our bungalow did not. Room gets hot in the day, so we stayed at the beach or at the bars. I was...

A tad old, but very comfortable. I don't get the "dump" remarks, we found the hotel to be an excellent value. It has seen better days I guess, but the staff is friendly and accomodating and the price is unbeatable. We stayed in one of the rooms near the back of the complex. They have small bungalows available as well,...
