First time every staying at an eco hotel. Appreciate the green living perspective. Rooms were comfortable even without AC. Though it rained like the locals have never seen before they kept the place clean and dry for the guests. Best yoga experience. How can you not get your zen on listing to the waves and enjoying fresh sea air. Instructors...

I stayed here for 7 nights during the month of November, 2016. The food from the restaurant is mostly farm-to-table from a local organic farm and everything was absolutely fabulous. Selections ranged from local favorites, to italian to sushi and all was done amazingly well. The smoothies were fresh and delicious as well. The fitness classes were offered several times...

Unique eco hotel with laid back, friendly atmosphere. Walk to beach, yoga loft, crossfit gym, trapeze school, pool, or restaurant within seconds. Very friendly and will introduce newcomers to others staying at the hotel. They'll also help you arrange excursions if not already included in your stay. Plus Matilda the friendly hotel cat keeps an eye over all from the...

I had the best time at extreme and have now stayed there twice. The actives and gym are super cool and the staff are really friendly. I really enjoyed being able to just go right to the beach and kite surf. It is a great place to work on healthy habits, but still have a lot of fun. The rooms...

Fantastic! I stayed at Extreme Hotel for two months. My goal was to develop healthy eating, work out habits, get my yoga practice back in order and learn to kite surf. Basically get in the shape of my life and develop the habits to stay that way. The staff of Extreme made certain that I did not let myself down....

Let me begin by saying the hotel is right on the beach, as in you can crawl out of your room and be on the sand promptly. I mention peaceful because this is located in an area outisde of the busy part of Cabarete however if you wish to you can be right there in downtown Cabarete in minutes. I...

This is a great upmarket hostel with large, breezy rooms and good facilities on site. I tried my hand at the kitesurfing and enjoying the daily yoga. Travelling on my own I had hoped to meet a few more people but the whole resort (I.e cabarete, not just extreme) was very quiet. The girls at the hotel did there best...

So far this is the only place where I found everything I wanted. I visited DR for 2 weeks and my plan was to practice circus arts (trapeze, silk and hoop) in a tropical place. I ended up doing a lot more than I thought I would. First of all a lot of people told me that it would be...

We had a great time at Extreme hotel. It's a bit out of town, located right on one of the best beaches in the world for kiting. It's easy to grab a cab to town or to the local surf break at Encuentro. The rooms were very clean and quiet and each comes with a great balcony. Worth every penny.

The hotel is nearby the shops, walking distance, yet far enough where you can relax without any noise. The rooms are wide and spacious, but the bathroom could be a little more well maintained. Every thing was good, but the hotel staff seemed very disorganized. When we got there (around 8PM) no one was there or knew about our arrival....
