We arrived at Le Blanc/Phoenix Resort after staying a week at a very fancy all inclusive resort in Punta Cana. The food, customer service and beach at Le Blanc was far superior to the fancy resort! The owner and staff were extremely accommodating, they even fixed our rental car for us that had a mechanical issue. We tried the all-inclusive option for the first 3 days, and then extended it for the entire week. The chef was excellent and they had a special raclette grill night for us, which was delicious and fun! The private beach, just a short walk away from the resort, was our favorite amenity, the water was warm enough to swim in and you could walk along the beach for miles. The staff made sure we always had everything we needed at all times. They packed a cooler for us to take their private beach. The resort was very clean and well maintained. We want to come back someday! Just be warned that driving your own vehicle in the Dominican Republic can be very scary as the locals don't follow any traffic rules. We stayed in mid-January while the Dominican Republic had very strict Covid curfew laws. We were thankful that we had such a beautiful, clean and safe place to stay with excellent food and drinks and friendly helpful staff during these Covid curfew times.

Wonderful time for a family holiday, beach is at walking distance and the staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the all inclusive à la carte , the Chef is really good and open minded, he got me Almond milk and gluten free stuff for my intolerances

The location is far from everything. The picture is a view from the inside of resort. The resort is hidden from the street. The staff was nice. The manager was ok at times. The food was ok, not really good. There were noises coming from the bathroom walls that disrupted my sleep for a couple of days. The lock on my door was lose. But the manager said, no one steals around here, it was ok. This palace is good for people who want to be away from everything.

Thank you for your review. Sorry we did not meet your expectations. In response to the location, many people come here to relax, enjoy the pool, and private beach. As for the noise coming from your bathroom, we have 12 inch cement walls that separate all of the apartments, so this is a surprise to us but we will look into it as well as the loose lock.

The staff was friendly and curtesy. It’s nothing to do a resort no activities on site. The food was good. However , very slow. The name was changed while on vacation. A COVID fee was charged in addition to other fees.

Thank you for your review. Upon your reservation on RCI, we make it very detailed and clear on where it says "urgent information", that there will be a COVID fee as well as resort fee for RCI members, which include: unlimited high speed wifi, 4000+ channels from all of the world on the tv in your room, amazon fire sticks in rooms, free international calls, free morning coffee, free shuttle service to the private beach, 24 hour security, and much more! . The COVID fee is in order for us to properly disinfect every 15 minutes and provide the guests with disinfected rooms; from wall to furniture. Our guests safety is our number one priority.

This was our 5th time staying at the Phoenix and what a time it was! We learned on our 7/14th day that our flights home were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the entire staff stepped up to help us and take care of everything we needed. They adapted the restaurant to comply with government regulations, Ronaldo let us know when they were making runs to Janet's grocery store, Nicolas wiped things down in the dining room, Chantal was online checking flights, Roudy, Chantal and Cali drove us to and from the airport 3 times as standby flights we hoped to get on were cancelled twice. Owner Benoit was available by email to provide answers to our questions. We have loved the Phoenix Spa and Resort since the first time we arrived in 2016 and we love it even more now. The staff have become like family to us, guests pulled together to support each other through the stress of the crisis and we've made lasting friendships. The resort has become our home away from home and we are so thankful for this group of amazing people. When other hotels closed down and sent guests onto the streets with nowhere to go, The Phoenix did the opposite and stepped up. We can't wait to return when things settle down and we wish the best to our friends who live in the Cabarete area who find themselves in uncertain circumstances like the rest of the world.
