This was my first visit to the DR and this place came highly recommended. It's walking distance to everything you need..grocery store, currency exchange and all the popular bars, etc. I stayed in the 2bdrm/1 bath apt which came with a full kitchen, dining area, free WiFi and flat screen TV. (they also have newly renovated 1bdrm rooms which are...

There's something about staying here that makes you feel like you're at family's house, not a hotel. The rooms are very reasonable, breakfast made-to-order (sometimes they'll even make a supermarket run for you if missing a requested ingredient) and a clean refreshing pool overlooked by some relaxing plants and trees. Throw in free airport transportation for stays of a certain...

Five Sosua trips a year and this is the only place my friends and I stay. Clean affordable rooms, free breakfast, complimentary airport pickup, visitor friendly, walking distance from most of the popular bars / restaurants and everyone is super nice. The staff literally treats you like a member of their own family! I generally rent the one or two...

I stayed for 3 weeks at the D Piero Hotel. Here are the stats: PRO: Breakfast (toast, bacon, eggs, coffee, orange juice, fruit); staff are very friendly; management will give you a discount the longer that you stay. My rooms rate was decreased from $40 to $30 because I stayed an additional 2 weeks. This is a quiet hotel but...

After staying at a couple popular inner city places it was a great relief to go to a place that had EVERYTHING Included in the price. Airport transfers both ways, Full Hot Breakfast, Air Conditioning, Pool, Jacuzzi, Exercise/Gym Area, Barbeque grills, car and scooter rentals, all without leaving the hotel. You can get room service for No Extra Charge for...

Short dive trip to Sosua area and I needed a hotel that was relatively close to the city/beach area. This hotel fit the bill from the info I gained via the web and tripadvisor. The hotel was very basic and I was a bit unimpressed by it all, but I think I was a bit harsh considering the price was...

D'Piero's is a small hotel with maybe 12 rooms, some of the rooms are apartment style with a living room, kitchen, and separate bedroom. I'm staying in a 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor....

This was my first stay at D'Piero's for 3 nights and it was fantastic. I've been to Puerto Plata and Sosua 8 times and it will be my first choice in Sosua in the future. I was on a tight budget and had one of the smaller rooms but it was great value with a good breakfast included. Piero the...
