My father and I stayed here for one night at the beginning of April. Luckily this was just a stop over before we went to our resort for the rest of the week. For one night it was doable but I would never have stayed there if it was for more than that. When you first arrive you are greeted...

Another reviewer sighted fading elegance and this I feel is correct. Its a stunning locale right out of a James Bond movie or from Starwars when they are on princess "whatchamacallits" planet that looks like something from a Maxwell Parrish painting with rich Caribbean color pallet. I've eaten and had drinks here a few times and enjoyed my meals each...

We stayed at the Piergiorgio around Christmas and enjoyed our short time there. Yes, it is somewhat funky and faded but the views from its outdoor balconies are gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable enough, and the town and beach are walkable. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. (By the way, In reference to the toilet paper comment...

I stayed here and it's overpriced. Nice location but it's rooms are blocked by a 3 story condo. So the pics you see are of the common areas were we eat breakfast. Rooms: clean and simple. Nothing special. Bathrooms, you can flush toilet paper, and there is hot water. Wifi: confusing but pick the one with the password and it...

Well, let me start by saying this is a 3rd world country hotel and the only thing good about it is location. First off if you find the notion of wipping your behind with toilet paper and putting it in the waste basket....then this is the place for you. Because they are signs posted in the bathrooms saying "do not...

This hotel is built on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The location is beautiful. Restaurants, beaches, bank nightlife are all within walking distance. The Hotel is elegant and quiet. It was beautiful to sit in this location and have breakfast every day. The staff is warm and friendly. The hotel is tired. Bleach and paint would help a great deal....

We stayed for a weekend in the lovely village of Sosúa, a beach at north Dominican Republican. The hotel seems to have lived better times when Puerto Plata, the province where Sosúa is located, was the prime tourist destination in this country. The further development of the eastern beaches, primarily Punta Cana, brought about the flows of turism changed their...

I stayed here for one night before and after my trip to the Silver Bank to snorkel with the humpback whales (with Aquatic Adventures) on the advice of my tour company (Cheesemans Ecology Safaris). The hotel is quaint and overlooks the water. I do agree with other reviewers that it probably has seen better days but that did not detract...

I have been your time or money. to the Dominican several times and this was the worst place I have ever been to. This was a jet blue getaway package vacation. We stayed in the hotel as part of our North coast Dominican Republic vacation. The most important advantage of the hotel is the location right above the ocean so you can enjoy amazing views (p.s. everything on the pictures is true). The breakfast was very good - good quality of food, enough choices everyday. The feeling when you are having...
