but in the restaurant you couldn't enjoy your meal because even though it was a dning room and not a sports bar there were men smoking and eating nothing and watching the soccer game blaringly loud. The staff didn't seem to care about the guests. Most of the men were not even guests. The service was not great either. The...

The hotel is very basic but served the purpose to house a group I brought to Huehuetenango for 2 nights. The rooms have either 1, 2, or 3 beds but otherwise there isn't much difference. Wifi is adequate. There is a fair amount of street noise no matter where you are, but rooms near the street are louder. The breakfast...

This City is walkable but not too big...&The Hotel is on block off Central Park .. clean , flat screen tvs, hard mattress..a plus for me central to taxis and public transport... This hotel runs only $17 a night with free wifi, located in a great area near central park. Rooms are fitted with a desk and a lounge chair. For the price, This hotel is worth it. I slept very well, was comfortable, and treated well. Great value.

The receptionist wore a suit and tie and the staff had clean uniforms-- something we were not used to seeing at the places we stay in Guatemala. But the ugly, ubiquitous fluorescent lights were off in the lobby and stairways to save money--hmm. The room was big, but most of the space taken up by 3 large beds. Several of...

Modern, not fancy but totally clean and convenient hotel, nice bathroom, free parking and complimentary wifi just for $16.00/night. Not easy to find. Spent one night at this hotel while attending a business meeting, would return anytime. The only thing I could tell the manager is to use some clorox for their towel washing.

I was at this hotel the night of the Day of the Burning of the Devil, which is the traditional start to Christmas. The original idea was people burn their old garbage after a house cleanup for Christmas. It has now developed into a day of fireworks, firecrackers and fires in the streets. This hotel is downtown, in the older...

At $30 dollars a night you really cannot get better than this in this town. We got a room with 2 full size beds, one chair, night stand and TV. The room was pretty small. All the furniture was right next to each other. They offer free WiFi and plenty of movie channels. Conviniently located 1 block away form the...

As soon as I read the review mentioning a soaker tub, I was sold. I showed up, asked for a room in a tranquilo location, and was given one at the back of the building on the third floor. Perfect. It was indeed quiet, but had no bathtub. The price, however, was unbeatable - the rack rate posted inside the...

My wife and I decided to stay at Huehuetenango to break up our bus travel from Mexico to Antigua. We selected Royal Park Hotel based on the couple of reviews on Trip Advisor. As mentioned in the reviews, the hotel is only a few years old and is ideally located one street back from the zocalo. With our limited Spanish...
