We loved this place! Went with both our kids, 6 and 2 and they really enjoyed it. The rooms are cozy, well kept with an unbelievable view. Food is great! The lodge is very close to the slopes, but you do need a car. They have hiking options starting right from the hotel. The majority of the people working there...

Terrific food done professionally by a true staffed Chef Rooms were superb. Attention to details like no other place I've been to> Family owned and they are lovers of nature, so they keep all surrounding intact The hotel is nestled at the foot hills of The Andes Mountain, if you look at pictures posted you'll appreciate the beauty of this...

This is seclusion at its very best. Nestled deep in Valle Las Trancas, the lodge is away from the main highway, but close to great day hikes into the surrounding foothills and mountains. There are gorgeous views of the volcanoes that cannot be matched by other lodges. Photos of this lodge and the surrounding area do not do it justice....

A magnificent spot in the Nevados de Chillan area, small size (maybe 10 rooms) with very helpful staff and excellent cuisine. Warm architecture with lots of wood and stone in the middle of a beautiful environment. Room area is quite tight, and in our case we "shared" everything that happened in the room above us (very poor noise insulation!). Hot...

If you're looking for mountainous serenity with optional adrenalin-activities then this is the place for you. Open year round this family-owned hotel is tucked away at the base of the Andes Mountains. In ski season (july-sept) it is the place where locals stay at and in summer it is where they rock climb, horse ride and cycle. It is staffed...

Rocanegra is a nice, small family-run ski-/ mountain-lodge. Great views of the volcano, lovely (if chilly) pool and reasonable food. The staff are friendly but needed the odd nudge to be helpful or do anything outside of their standard routine. We visited in summer, so cannot comment on the ski facilities, but the mountain setting for hiking etc was great,...

Absolutely Outstanding! Not only is this lodge located on a gorgeous natural setting, but it is also very close to the ski slopes. The lodge is beautifully built, the combination of volcanic rock and wood give it a beautiful look that makes it blend in to its surroundings. It has a pool that you can use in hot summer days,...

My friends and I spent 4 nights at Rocanegra. Before we even got there we realized we had reserved a room that wouldn't work for the couple that was with us because they needed a bathtub and had an 8 year old boy with them. We phoned in, and they kindly moved us to a more suitable room. We came...

We only stayed one night here, but what a great experience it was. After a long drive from Santiago, we arrived very late. Not only did the staff wait up for us, but still made us a full dinner and pisco sours. The facility and scenery are stunning. The rooms are rustic and comfortable. Carlos is an excellent and friendly...

I just spent 2 nites at this relatively new Lodge in the mountains. Tranquil, intimate, safe. Grand scenery, hiking is only OK, but did not get to explore beyond the lava fields. Nice people - Ruben and Roberta speak excellent english & make you feel like one of the family; everyone else is quite friendly and helpful. Great food with...
