We just stayed there for one night, I would not recommend. The hotel is very humid and the bathroom was not super clean, breakfast is barely average. On the positive side: WiFi is good and there is heating in the room.

Beware of this hotel and the hosts! I have booked through booking 3 nights and from the reviews it seemed ok. Once i got there it was a nightmare: super dirty the room, the bathroom and the kitchen was a nightmare! You couldn t even cook properly as there was a mess everywhere. The receptionist didn t understand a word of english, very rude and not helpful at all. I am not english, but from such a turistic place you lind of expect a few words of english from hotel staff. I have decided to stay just one night instead of three and immediately informed one of the staff, who confirmed me there was no problem. The day after at the check out they stormed at me saying that i couldn't cancel it in advance and even denying what was agreed the day before. They even called the owner and he said to me in a very rude way that "they are different, they are cchilean and things are done their own way". He couldn t care less if i wanted to leave earlier, that he would have charged me the full amount anyway as they had my credit card details. Believe it or not, i had to pay the full amount ad once i have tried to log in to booking to give them a bad review, they cancelled my booking! They pretended i did a no show! This is not the smart way to get tourists on your way guys!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed there for a night. They room I got was clean, the only thing to comments is that the ceilings were very low specially in the bathroom so It was a bit uncomfortable for a tall guy like me. My room was facing the main road and it was quite noisy at night (Saturday night) with high music till late after midnight... They offer free parking at a fenced area two blocks away from the hotel.

This is a first floor hotel in central Ancud on Chiloe Island, Southern Chile. The small rooms are cosy, heated and have comfortable beds. Hot water in the en-suite shower rooms. Its a clean and friendly place to stay and close to amenities. Free secure parking is available nearby. Good breakfasts are served in a room at the back with a view over the town.

The rooms in the Hotel Ancud are cosy and warm - just what you need in September in Chiloe! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is good. It's nice and quiet and within easy reach of everything. Very clean and a real find. Would definitely return - in fact we did, after a night 'down south'! Very comfortable beds, too.
