Room was small, just tea and coffee making facility, no microwave etc. We had grandchildren with us expecting to see lots of farm animals. Saw a cow and pigs. Nice area but not what we were expecting.

We had a pleasant night after a wedding during the day. Steve lined up the skeet shooter for us, happily replaced a bottle of wine I broke by accident, was full of Kiwi yarns, and cooked a great breakfast after returning from milking the cows! There are 360 degree views across Waikato farmland, and it's utterly peaceful (apart from the...

Desley and Steve welcomed us into their home and were fabulous hosts who accommodated our needs, including picking us up late at night from our wedding venue 5 minutes away! The house was stunning, and suited us perfectly. A group of 15 adults and 2 children taking over your home, was managed very well!! Breakfast the next morning was lovely,...

We stayed one night as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Woodlands Estate. They offered to both drop us at the venue and pick us up so that no-one had to worry about drinking and driving. All we had to do was ring them when we were ready and they arrived a short time later. (It was about...

We (family of four) stayed at the Club House for one night during our trip through the North Island. This was a great experience! We were warmly welcomed and could experience farm life and the surrounding area. The farm is nicely located on a small hill with great views for the sunset. We would recommend the Club House to any...

We were in a group of 6 dairy farmers from Malaysia visiting New Zealand. The ClubHouse was our first visit to a working dairy farm. Steve and his son were wonderful hosts. They gave us a great insight of how a typical dairy farm operates in New Zealand. We enjoyed the tour of the farm and are hoping to return...

As Club House advertises itself as dog friendly, we booked by email the self contained ensuite studio for one night with our dog during our trip around the North Island. We phoned a couple of days prior to our stay to confirm. On arrival we were informed that the studio had been given to another guest from a wedding party,...

Coming from a city lady, it is a lot of fun watching farmer Steve working among 280 cows. My party of 4 (2 couples) booked the club house for 1 nite back in nov 2013. The entire compound (the house, garden, tennis court & farm) was insanely huge and I smell nothing but total RELAXED ~~~ Desley was a great...
