This place was not what I expected. The website is very deceiving and outdated. There was wood piles everywhere broken down shacks, just looked trashy. The TP did not have the cover on the top and it had been misting that day. We asked her what do we do if it starts raining hard the beds were right underneath the...

I'm giving this location a "Poor" rating even though my 10 year old son loved it - mom and dad, not at all. We stayed in one of the tipis, that smelled VERY moldy; and the weather got very cold that night and the heater smelled so bad we did without it. I stepped on a wasp and got stung...

The pictures on their website are vary outdated. TPs are made from a heavy plastic truckers tarp & panted. With the tops wrapped with blue plastic tarp. Electrical plugs are overloaded. They smell of mold & heavy wood smoke. Our tp was wasp & hornet infested. The owners were congenial and allowed us to stay in the "tree house". Which...

Friendly couple managers when we arrived they had a fire going outside and turned the heater on shower was different kinda mixed emotions on that but super soft water shower also could use some work but everything else was amazing owners even gave us nicknames and took time out of there day to give us a lesson on diamond hunting.

The website & Facebook page is very misleading! Mold, overloaded powerstrip in cabins & teepees was very dangerous. Parts of the ceiling in cabin was hanging down with spiderwebs everywhere. No playground for kids like site said. Hottub was not working with mold in it. They were pumping sewage from bathroom facilities which had the smell in air making it...

Bathroom facilities were shameful. I felt sorry for my children while we stayed here. The lodging inside the tipis was dirty and smelled. The stool that i stayed up all night sitting on (because the dirtiness made my skin crawl - couldn't sleep a wink) ... that stool was broken, I had to sit really still, only three of the...

The teepees are unsafe. There was a powerstrip hanging from the side with multiple items plugged in such as microwave, TV, refrigerator, fan, airconditioner and a lamp. The day we were there it rained and our floor was flooded with approx 2 incehes of water under the bed and was dripping down the side close to the power strip. The...

The place itself is amazing, staying by the riverside, you have available wood to make your own fire, bathroom was clean, location is awesome to go hunting for Diamonds and the staff was super friendly. At night you can have a beautiful view of the clear and full of starts sky as well as a lot of fireflies.

Pros: Cabin with amenities, full-body shower, flat-screen TV with dish service, free wi-fi, native American decor adds to ambience, coffee maker, micro wave, mini-fridge, fire pit with fire wood provided, hot tub, riverside location with use of canoe, fishing location with some equipment provided, free tools for diamond mine, pet-friendly so that my dog enjoyed the stay, price was reasonable,...

We stayed here with our kids and really enjoyed it. It's a very unique experience and different from a typical campground. We loved all the animals and the fact that the owners are extremely dog friendly!! We could bring our dog and not have to keep her on a leash at all times so she enjoyed the stay as much...
